instead of showin the date when you flip on the phone, it says EDGE...how can i change that to have it say the date?

Think the new at&t will cut them some slack and let them upgrade now? I really hope they don't because the migrated customers will be pretty pissed.

Thanks to everyone that responded. Looks like it's either the W710i or the W810i.

My cousin has a credit from sonystyle.com for an MP3 player that crashed a few months ago.

So they gave her a coupon code for free shipping and 10% on the next online purchase.

We can order the W710i with a 1GB memory chip for right around $349

Or we can order a W810i with a 4GB memory chip for about $400.

I know it's only a $50 dollar difference but the main questions are.

How will the W710i work on the cingular network? ( Anyone out there using one on the network)

And after the phone is received do we just call cingular and tell them to add the phone to the network?

Will they do that or give us hassle because we did not buy from the...

when cingular complete rebrands over to "at&t" will our phones eventually display "at&t" on the home screen opposed to cingular........or is it just on new phones.

I am replacing a Razr I lost and was going to get a PDA phone, but decided to wait on the iPhone. In the meantime, I need a good phone. I really need good call quality, good speakerphone, good reception, and would like multimedia extras. Does anyone know how the LG CU500, LG CU400 and Samsung Sync would compare?

Best thing about the name change from Cingular to AT&T: Not having to hear customers mispronounce the name as "Singulair". As in "I've been a Singulair customer for 2 whole years, why can't I get a $800 credit for my overages."

Worst thing: The crybaby AT&T Wireless customers will be demanding to have their old AT&T Wireless plans back even though AT&T Wireless is dead and buried and has nothing to do with the New AT&T.

A customer informed me that when using speaker phone on the KRZR you can not close the phone without ending the call. Does any one know if you can alter this feature to continue calls when closed?

I work for a company currently using nextel basicly for their PTT feature. Has anyone swithed to Cingular PTT from Nextel and if so how would you say they compare. I work in Northeast Ohio just for comaparison of coverage area. Thanks in advance.

I need a new phone NOW or at least VERY soon. I am leaning toward the Krzr. However, I feel like a sucker paying $200 for that phone. It's mostly cosmetic.

Anyway, is there any other BETTER phone coming down the pipeline real soon? Also do you see the Krzr coming down in price anytime soon? I really dont like what Cingular has to offer right now.

I currently have the $69.99 5 line family plan. One of my lines is currently out of contract, but the remaining 4 still have a full year left. Can I upgrade that 1 line for another 2 years and still have the other 4 stay the same?

I went into this store, and the guy said that if I upgrade that one line, then they will upgrade that line to a $39.99(instead of a 9.99 add a line) effectively making my bill $30 more expensive.

All I want to do is upgrade that line and get a discounted phone while maintaining the same bill. Any thoughts?

i have a nokia 6288 ive had it for a while, im sort of tired of it, i want something new, but not too expensive, or anything that needs me to pay 40.00 for internet use, i like the 3125 and the sync,and the blackjack, but im not sure, i dont really use the internet much, i would only use it for voice, instant messages and text, any help would be appreciated.

so i bought an unlocked krzr k1 and i have cingular but cant send mutimedia text messages...i can send plain text messages though. does anyone know how to fix that. cingular customer serivce couldnt help me.
