if they are talking about an N76, where the hell is the N75?

Just got a new phone/contract this past August. Is there anyway to get a new bb pearl from cingular? Should I buy somewhere else? Cancel contract? Suck it up?

My wife needs a new phone anyway and I just upgraded so we are now on a new plan.

that being said she started a new job and where they are located show best reception on the Cingular service map but in the building (Which is actually a house) has terrible reception on the old V551 that she uses now.

What phone out there has the best signal reception? I am pretty sure she wants a flip phone but reception over that feature would be fine.

My roommate is having problems placing phone calls. Apparently nothing happens when he presses the send button. (Call don't connect) I was thinking that maybe there was a UMTS outage or something. I'm thinking that switching the phone to GSM will fix the problem.


P.S. I heard someone having similar problems in Orlando a few weeks ago.

Launched today in the North Texas market.

I have a Nokia 8801 and have access to MEdia Net with no MMS problems. BUT, I get errors such as 'unknown response' or 'subscribe to data packet...' when I try to download games or ringtones from MEdia Net. Also the GMail app, google local, and Opera mini will not load. I'm assuming I am missing something in my settings but have not figured it out yet. Everything looks to be set correctly.

Is it just an issue with using an unbranded phone on Cingular's netowrk?

1. the "smallover" network will not ever be integrated, how shocking it is that suckular cannot intergrate 2 gsm networks, thank god theyre not handling the sprint merger
2. rollover is marketing at best, got to have something to say is yours i guess, f&f is the BEST deal of any carrier, do the research
3. you can drop calls all day long, and still pay the highest rates in the industry for some truly horrible service
4. cust care, really cares about nothing other than the crappy paychecks they get for slaving for sigman and co. wanna get hung up on by a smarta$$, call cingular customer care(less)--need examples, read the cingular care reps posts about theyre thoughts of customers
5. they will never BE verizon, let alone be equal to them...

For a few hours yesterday, some Cingular Wireless customers in San Diego found themselves temporarily without service.

The network outage, which caused intermittent service disruptions, lasted a few hours yesterday, according to Cingular Wireless spokesman Ritch Blasi. Service to all customers has since been restored, he says.

They have sending letters out to their subscribers canceling their accounts becuase of excessive off-network roaming on Cingular's towers, at least in my area here in KY anyway. Anyone else been seeing alot of this? I wouldnt figure a small regional carrier would do this, only the Tier 1 carriers

in the article (homepage) it says AT&T might not brand cingular as AT&T WIRELESS. what will our name be? just at&t? any clues?
