My cousin was in a Cingular store yesterday to buy an accessory for his phone and the Cingular rep informed him that they had it in stock, but didn't want to go downstairs to get it. My cousin asked him why not, but the Cingular rep got frustrated and glared at him. Then the Cingular rep turned red and made a fish face, and put his hands on each side of his head like fish gills and started making a high-pitch screech. A few other customers in the store looked at him really wierd, and my cousing was freaked out by this Cingular employee and ran out of the store.

is this normal?

Just got the new rebate forms this morning for the new rebate period... 12/31-1/20 and the Motorola RAXRmaxx was on there, as well as the KRZR and the Treo 750. So, I would assume that they will all be realeasing within a few days. Yay!

I've spent roughly 10 hours this past week on the phone with cingular. my g/f and i are on at&t's family share plan $39.99 and an additional $9.99. we add on two 5 dollar text plans and our bill averages around 60 after fees/taxes. In the past months our service has declined considerably and I decided it was time to see what Cingular would do about it. I called and spoke to three people for an hour and a half total and was finally offered an explanation and some phones. Supposedly, our phones aren't working b/c they're att phones and they're "hunting the network" but "we can fix this if you sign a cingular contract and use cingular phones." Just curious on how many text messages people use each month? I personally use about 9,000 or so. Is this sad, or is this normal, to an extent?

I just got the BB pearl and I am very confused about the BB plans. I think my sales rep was just as confused.

I signed up the BB max plan that is $39.99 per month. He said this includes unlimited data for internet/email and 1000 txt messages since I am a personal user. Is this correct??

I was under the impression that $44.99 was the cost of the unlimited BB plan and that didn't included any txt messaging.

I looked at cingular.com and didn't see the max plan at all. The website does list the $44.99 unlimited plan and a $29.99 internet plan.

Any help would be appreciated on this. I am in Dallas, TX.

After 9 plus years of service with Cingular, they now want me to pay $18 Activation fee on an upgrade!

Has this ever happened to u all many times a day? Customer walks in, yea what phones do u have for free. You answer either BOGO with media packages or otherwise. Customer says wal mart has this phone for free or for whatever price.
im so sick of wal mart's phone prices, selling the razr at 28.88 among other phones for free or rediculously cheap. yet i still shop there becuase i have to i hate it. they take away my commission because they dont pay their employees a decent wage or commission or insurance. does anyone else feel the same way?

I just purchased a Sony T616. I tried to download ringtones yesterday, but they would go thru. I think its becuase my WAP isnt configured right. So I call Cingular Customer Service and they tell me I have to Purchase there internet service for 3.99 a month. just to download ringtones and wall paper. That doesnt sound right at all. I was able to download ringtones on my 6340i GAIT phone without internet service. WHats the deal here.?

Friday, May 13, 10:45pm: Noticed credit card payment did not match price quoted. Called in to verify order, but was unable to. Told to wait for delivery and verify then.
