Nokia 6230

So I have been going through phones the past few months like its my job.....wait cell phones are my job. Anyways, I purchased a brand new Nokia 6230 off ebay, and despite it being a little older, I really do like the phone. I get reception in places I never did before, and the sound quality and loudness is amazing. Is this really that good of a phone, because I will stick with it if it is.

CINGULAR 8525

I have recently purchased a Cingular 8525, and let me say this first, the reception is spectacular, seriously, I have service where Verizon and T-Mobile did not dare...But alas I do have a problem.

I have a Moto H300 BT Headset, and I have been able to pair it once with my phone but when I got a call, it would pick it up. I erased it off my phone and went to start over but it couldn't find the headset.

Obviously it knows something that I do not and I was wondering what that could possibly be?

Just got AT&T and love it!!!!!!

I just ditched my crappy sprint service and I'm now a very happy AT&T customer.

don't ever get sprint they suck really bad they had a tower out in my area for a week, when i called to tell them about it they acted like everything was fine and it had to be my phone. a week later they called me back to apologize and offer me a free phone and reduced rate if i would stay. LOL yeah right no thanks

and yes they finally figured out their tower was out

Name change to ATT Wireless - can I get out?

Here's the serious question: does name change constitute sufficient grounds to terminate my contract without paying ETF?

I have very specific reasons: when ATT Wireless tracking stock (AWE) was unloaded onto unsuspecting public - and ATT was hiding the true state of their financials - I rode that dog from its IPO price of $30 to $15/share. I will not willingly give my money to anything with the name ATT on it.

The question is - can I do it now or wait until August?

Ringtones

Anyone out there know (or have already) where I can grab a ringtone of a Barking Dog? I've heard it on others' phones and I think it's hysterical.

Thanks.

Text Messaging w/ Nokia N73

Hey,

I'm using the above phone with my Cingular service, but I can't figure out how to send text messages. Apparently need to know the number for Cingular's "message centre" as that's what the phone is asking for. This phone is the best ever, I just want to solve this riddle. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Name change...

Who cares what the name of the company is? If you think you have a reason, you don't. Get over it.

Oh no! Why?

I have the V3xx (gray) available to order as of 01/14/07 (unless it gets delayed for not passing testing) The V3xx (gold) will follow (who knows when) Could it be possible that the V3xx will come out before the K1?
I can't believe how many motorolas we are getting. Maybe we should just drop the at&t name for Motorola Wireless.. 🙄

lil help with a new memory card please

I currently have a 8525 and a 1GB memory card with a few programs and pictures saved on it

I just bought a 2gb card and I was wondering what is the best way to copy all the info from the 1gb card to the 2gb card so that it wont effect the programs I have installed on the phone

would this work?

inserting the 1 gb card into my computer .. copying all files and programs into a folder on my desktop .. then inserting the 2gb and drag and drop that folders content on the 2gb card
