Anybody on ATT own the N1?
I'm wondering how an unlocked Android smartphone works on ATT. With reguards to mms & internet settings, and access to the Android market.
Is everything smooth & simple? Yes, I know only EDGE will work on ATTs network, my question isn't about EDGE Vs 3G. It's about how simple is mms & internet settings on an unlocked Android smartphone.

are e-mails considered text messages?
Hello. I just got out of my t-mobile commitment and i'm looking to At&t and verizon next.
With t-mobile i got screwed on my samsung memior because they counted e-mails as text messages and that hurt my monthly text allowance. Does this crap happen with AT&T? I'm looking to get the Iphone. Thanks.

Anybody know if mms & inernet would work on a Motorola Milestone on ATT?
I really don't like using MY money for something and it be controlled by ATT!!!!! And after seeing how much they are fckg with the Backflip I want an Android smartphone that is UNTOUCHED by ATT. So I'm thinking about going on ebay and using MY $ to buy an Android smartphone that is UNTOUCED by ATT.

AT&T Acquiring VZW/Alltel Markets
So what is the hold up with AT&T acquiring the divested VZW markets that were once Alltel? The Alltel folks I've talked to don't know when they will convert over. Any thoughts? I'm waiting patiently for AT&T to come to my area so I can switch from VZW! 😁

Anyone know of anything about a Samsung Sunburst???? Just Curious.
GPS problem on 9700??
I have a 9700 on at&t and cannot get the gps to work. When I try to add navigator it says "product requires a gps receiver, please purchase a gps receiver." It worked fine before and the only thing I have done to the phone was update the system. Anybody know how to get this fixed??

Question..
I'm needing to upgrade 2 phones but don't want or need data on either line. I'm a firefighter so a nice, rugged phone for me and one with a good camera for my wife. Battery life and reception are key points for both. The Tundra looks like my only option but what say you much smarter people than I? What are our best options. Thanks and God bless.

Question on activating a phone from ebay??
Hey i had a phone in mind i was probably going to buy off eBay, if i bought the Nokia 6085 phone and brought it to AT&T when my contract is up. Will they be able to give me a mint new version of the phone? Sorry if it sounds stupid but i was just wondering about it.

I support contracts and ETF's, here's why....
i worked for at&t for a year and a half in customer service. One thing I realized while working with them is that many consumers are too impatient. If it weren't for contracts and termination fees no carriers customers numbers would be close to accurate. Too many people would leave at&t due to a dropped call. Leave Verizon because they can get cheaper rates with tmo or sprint. Leave those carriers because they don't get the service they want and come back to at&t.

2 months into 2010, I wonder how much longer til ATT starts spending the $18-$19bn the network
2 months of 2010 are now gone. I wonder how much longer til ATT starts spending this $18-$19bn on network upgrades and backhaul improvements! They can't possibly be spending that much $ in a 6 month period. The northeast is all covered in snow. So I say they might as well start spending the $18-$19bn here in Las Vegas.

I am currently sprint customer and i have been looking to switch to AT&T. So i need an advice from someone is it worth it to switch to at&t from sprint and what would be the benefits of switching. I am just asking for an honest answers from one of the knowledgable people here Thank You

BB Bold and the annoying hour clock!
I just got this phone and I think it's going back soon. I can't do much multitasking on this phone. If I'm running three or more applications (slacker, BB IM, and the Facebook app) just to name a few, the phone would freeze up and show that annoying clock for several minutes (it took 6+ minutes just a moment ago for it to get out of this and continue playing songs) Is this how blackberry's are? This is my first blackberry and this is very annoying to me. Do you guys have this problem too?

Appearently the HTC Pure hasn't sold well?
The HTC Pure isn't all that different than Vzn's HTC Imagio with the exception of the Imagio having MobileTv, right? I swear a LOT more smartphones need to have MobileTv.
