verizon released their K1m today for 199 with a 2 year. cingular's v3i costs freakin 249.99 wtf?

i cant wait till the Krazr k1 is released for cingular in 2010 with a price of 399.99!!!!


stupid cingular. all of the buzzworthy phones of cingular always seem to be delayed, and other carriers such as verizon beat them to it. and when the phones are released, they are ridiculously overpriced.


no 3125 for me. i learned that the speakerphone cannot be used when the flip is closed. why cant these idiots design a smart smartphone? i meant they copied the razr, why didnt the copy the speakerphone idea from the razr as well?

I think that in general, Cingulars phone options are a disgrace. Sure there are a lot of good phones coming out soon (hopefully), but what is available now sucks. I was just looking online and it is crazy to see the same phones all the time.

First, you have the free phones. Most people know that free phones suck, but not new customers. These are the customers that usually get these ones. We currently have 4 free phones online: LG C2000, Nokia 6030, Motorola L2 and Firefly. The LG C2000 is at its end of life. You can only get this phone online. Not even Warrenty Exchange has them anymore. They will send you an LG C225. The Nokia is probably the best free phone available because is is a NOKIA. Im a cingular customer and I keep getting some messages and calls from unidentified numbers. They are either blocked or private and the text messages dont have a number because I think they are sent from the website maybe? Is there anyway to see where these are coming from? I was on hold with CS too long...will my online acct show the #? I looked but couldnt find anything...maybe I missed something? Or if I call CS can they tell me the number of the calls coming in as blocked or private?

It looks like Verizon will be getting the Krzr very soon. When will Cingular be getting it? It seems like Verizon always gets the latest/hottest phones way before Cingular. I would love some chocolate or a krzr. Im tired of Cingular's ****ty phones.

Would anyone happen to know the web site to send gprs and mms settings to customers as a text message?

Just got them in this morning. I played with the E62 and it seems to be another one of Nokia's successes.

I have a buddy with a 6230 that is still under warranty for anothe month or 2. Are they still replacing these or are they sending out 6682 kits instead like they do with insurance.

I might be able to get an I-mate k-jam for under 250 and was wondering if I should get it? Or should I wait until the new Hermes comes out? I know the new Hermes is going to be expensive. Any idea what deals cingular will be having on the phone? What kind of rebates? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have Verizon and the only reason i would ever switch to Cingular is the bad ass SE phones you guys got. Are they the coolest of the Cingular phones? Most features?

😲 Wow, all I have to say about the new Nokia phones being released. The N95 is crazy and the N75 might be a hot seller if Cingular gets off their ass and accept it into their lineup. The 5300 would be a great pickup as well but having a WCDMA Nokia for the US is perfect for Cingular's sad lineup of phones. I dont even care about the Motorolas or LGs anymore, we need the N75.

I would get the N95 but good lord there is no way I'm spending that much money for that beast. I heard it could go for $800 unlocked.

What do the rest of you guys think? 🙂

First a disclaimer: I do not work for Cingular or a franchisee, so I have absolutely zero inside information.

Cingular has been quiet lately. The new phones have been a trickle. They still have only three UMTS phones. Very few new UMTS markets have been announced, even though they seem to be working very hard on this. It seems to me that they are planning a big splash for the name change to at&t. Any thoughts?

Will Cingular ever get this? i know where i work we offer unlimited sms for 15.00 and other providers that i know of at least have the feature, Cingular needs a competative unlimited sms package priced between 15.00 and 20.00.

at cingular's website when u select a phone to download games, the w300 appears as a cingular released phone. is this phone out?

Anyone have any information when Cingular will or will not get new Nokia's?

Really would be nice to have a 2 or 3 mega-pixel camera someday.
