Im getting a sonyericsson phone and I will have the settings for the internet,mms,text sent to my phone. My question is when I get the settings sent my phone will the text,mms work or will I have to do more configuring myself? After I get the settings can i go to a cingy store and have a csr configure them for me?

Why is my moms old nokia 3390 that only operates on the 900 mhz band has a better signal than alot of my current phones such as the (w600i,zx10)? I ask because im considering getting a phone using the 900mhz band.

Does anyone know what carrier this represents, or is it any affiliation of Cingular?

Cingular Wireless has been named as a defendant in a patent infringement lawsuit centering on ringback tones that was filed by Ring Plus.

Representatives from Ring Plus did not return calls seeking additional details on the patent infringement claim, but in a press release the company said the suit covered ringback tone patent infringement. The suit was filed in a U.S. federal court.

Cingular was unfamiliar with the lawsuit. "I have not seen the suit, so it would be inappropriate for us to comment on it," according to Cingular spokesman Mark Siegel.

Does anyone know when the 8525 is coming out??

I'm hearing the that Samsung D407 is being discontinue due to poor sales. This was a great lil phone, i use to have it and i had no problems with it, my onl complaint was the i couldn't make customized mp3 ringtones in it or that the bluetooth can get complicated on it sometimes.

Can anyone confirm these rumors?

I did have the MEdia Works Staere? 1000 sms and 5MB of data. and i just changed to the Messaging Extreme now i looked at my account online and my cycle is the 21st since i changed it it has the new package ***MSG EXTREME 3000 (Eff 10/21/06 )*** and then something else called ***MSG EXTREME 1 MO UNL (Expired 10/21/06 )***



Please tell me what this means, i just want to make sure im not getting screwed over and that i still have my sms until the new package takes effect. does it mean i have unlimited until that other cycle starts?

Just started my side business (Officially). Now I need a PDA to communicate with my customers. Tried the 8125 from Cingular. Browser Toooooooook a really long time to load. I can recieve email but could send any. Not sure if this is related to the phone vs EDGE technology. Is this normal? For some reason the saleman's blackberry was quick but does not have the tools the HTC as. Please advise? Want to make a cost effective purchase.

Does cingular send the setting for MMS and internet directly to the phone from the internet? I know t-mobile does, if you go to there website...mouse2mobile.

I have a customer that is wondering what video capabilities are on the slvr. Is it possible to download video clips onto the slvr. If so what format are they viewable in and do you use phonetools to switch them?
