and do you think the cellular community has overcome the communication block that happened that day? ie-over loaded circuts

i know we now live in a world that only cares about what is going to give us a faster data rate ev-do or umts, but seriously think about all the men and women that didnt get to say their last good byes to their loved ones beacuse of overloaded circuts.

🙂 Anyone know anything about this handset? It seems to be the 3G version of the i320, and by now we all know it was "leaked" over the weekend. I was just wondering if anybody has been able to test drive this unit. Interesting that a commitment is made to this product before the Palm is released.

Why does Cingular rip off there customers? My mother in law was going to get Cingulars service for the first time. They said the V3 would be 149.99 and it would be the phone and battery, battery door and come in a Cingular box. I told her to let me order it for her, I used Lets Talk.com I got her the V3 and it came in a MOTO box it came with phone, battery, battery door, USB cable, leather case and MOTO phone tools cd. and it was FREE thats right FREE not after rebate but total cost to her was ZERO and the phone is Cingular branded with Cingular software I know I have used Medi Net to download some ring tones for her and it has the Cingular start up and shut down.

I have pretty much had it with Verizon on their high-end phones not working with factory car kits.

Does Cingular publish a Bluetooth® Car Kit/Accessory Support Matrix like Verizon does on this page:

Or does any Cingular cell phone work with any regular car kit?

Is anyone using the 3G PC Cards right now? I have been using an EDGE card, but I want to try the 3g. I just wanted to know what everyone thought of them.

Also, is there anyway to trade in my EDGE card for the new 3g card without an upgrade? I feel like I really got screwed with the EDGE card, but I didn't realize it until I used my buddy's VZW card. Help me out...

what is everyone's personal policies on suggesting phones to customers? I try to let the customer pick out the phone that they want but if they pick something that I have seen a lot of returns on or that I know has a specific problem I try to stear them away (usually to the nokia 6102i). The thing is that sometimes this can blow up in your face if the phone you sell them happens to be defective (then its your fault for selling it to them)

I guess my main point is, do you guys find your self "selling the phones" as well as the service and the features?

There are reps at my store that just tell the customer to pick out the phone they want and sit at their computer until the customer comes back, they tend to be the reps with the LEAST ...

Now, here are some facts.

- The JD Powers survey covered only 27,000. That is pathetic. ESPN gets over 100,000 hits every night for their SportsCenter polls. JD Powers? 27,000 over a prolonged survey.

- The results showed that the people who were polled were totally unobjectional. This gets pointed out all of the time, but Q West runs on Sprint. In addition, Cingular and T Mobile both run on 310 in the southwest.

- JD Powers did no drive testing. ...

This just pisses me off!
Why is it that they always trash Cingular? This has always been suspicious to me. Is it that they (JD Powers) have a business account with Vz and Tmo? I mean WTF? Quest got better rating than Sprint even though Quest uses Sprint's network??? Puh-lease! Give me a *** break.
JD Powers can say whatever they want, but the true results are going to be on the results for the 3rd quarter...
Will T-Mobile and Sprint manage to get more than 650,000 net adds?
