The Cingular rep said that my gal has an older sim and needs to upgrade to the newest 64k? sim cards what is this all about?

She used to be able to send text to my email but now she can only receive, not send back how come?

hey i just got word that cingular is going to restrict insurance to a 30 day period starting november.

it basicly means that you only have 30 days from of activation date to get insurance. this will also affect existing customers, so if your thinking about getting insurance, get it before november cause after the 30 days you won't be able to get it until your next upgrade!

anyone know if it is possible to use a non stereo bluetooth head set with this phone to listen to music with?

I just got an ad from cingular in my email for collage ball ring tones. And you know what phone is showing in the add. The Sony W810. But yet we still can't order it from cingular? HMMMMMM HMMMMM. Anybody else received the same email? No I see the w300 is out. Wonder if the 810 will follow?

does anyone have any real worl experience with the above city and zip code. i know what mti shows, but my mother and her boyfriend both moved up there a few months back and it has been horrible service for them. she has an x497 and he has a v557. i called tech and them change her lrn to blue and plmn to gold. i'm sending her a 6102i to see if that helps, but if anyone works up there, can you tell me what your service is like???

I'm been experiencing much trouble with my verizon service lately, and I'm considering porting over my family account. I hear good things about cingular and want to know if you have a waterproof phone in the works like verizon? 🙂

Just an example of the complete crap which is Cingular's Customer service. Let me lay the backgroudn for you. I am a cingular customer who currently uses a 8125. My average monthly bill is over $1000.00 due to a large amount of traveling and international dialing. Now my 8125 breaks down and I dont have a phone. I'm currently using an old blue angel that is two years old. Now I call Cingular CS up and request that a replacement phone be sent to me. Needless to say i was on the phone for over 3 hours trying to resolve this. You would think it would take 15 minutes to reslove this issue. Due they realize they are pissing off their best customers. All i wanted was a replacement phone to be sent to me, instead i get 3 hours of my saturd...

alright guys. i have had the extended nights since it was $14 bucks. recently price was raised to 8.99 single and 16.99 family.
i have 2 lines on my bill i did see a small increase so i kept it moving and paid the bill.
well this morning i had to add the 4.99 ptt to my line to demo it to a business i am dealing with. i noticed on the primary ext nights are being billed at 8.99 and on my line the same thing. 🤨 😕 👿 👿 .

i reviewed my bill and it shows me being billed seperatly. in the end its only a dollar or 2 more. and i will change it tomorrow. but i wanna know who changed the features on our accounts (computers, people,etc....) because im gonna be really pissed if some idiot manually changed this. just to jerk me and...

what about carrier to carrier? Have a friend with a (crappy) Nextel and wanted to know if I could send him pin messages without it costing me....

Could anyone help me... I am wanting to get another phone and I am an existing customer. When I go to the site I get charged an upgrade fee but I dont want to upgrade the phone just get another one. Why am I being charged those fees? Thanks for any help.
