For those that still need to be educated...

For those of you that still need to be educated on the AT&T MMS for the iPhone. Here are the facts. What below was part of a conversation that participated in the thread "I left sprint for this." I stated that my service here in Las Vegas, NV was not up to par as of yet, Due to another blogger saying he had no issues. I also stated that I did leave AT&T to Verizon but was very unhappy with the storm. Plus, I missed my iPhone and I love my 3g s. I then stated that AT&T promised MMS roll out late summer. WHERE IS IT?? This is the response I received.

I wish verizon would have taken the iPhone

So that way I wouldn't have to scroll through so many pointless threads bashing at&t's over-congested 3g network for the millionth time to find a thread where someone actually has a useful question for which I can provide a useful answer. For all those bashing at&t's 3g service get a life, its old news.

AT&T Wireless Defrauding Consumers with 3G & Dependable Service

AT&T has been hiding the fact for almost a year they have issues involving their 3G service throughout the United States. Here in Austin, TX AT&T couldn't provide adequate service during the South by Southwest Concert so concert goers were without service majority of the time, and AT&T still to date is unable to provide reliable 3G Services to consumers which are paying for this service. Constant dropped calls, call failed notices, calls going straight to voice mail, and the inability to download or stream video from a 3G phone should have consumers filing a class action lawsuit against AT&T. AT&T rep's instead are telling phone customers to simply change their 3G status to Edge whereby calls wont be dropped at the same time AT&T isn't red...

I left Sprint for this?

I had Sprint for 9 years. As you all know, Sprint has been blowing big time. Well, I left Sprint on July 2nd and switched to AT&T. Back in the day, AT&T/Cingular was hot. They were number 1 until VZW bought Alltel. Everyone liked them. I've had them for two months now and honestly, their phones (blackberry) are very slow and their CS Reps at the business services (my account) are very dumb about somethings and unfriendly. They seem like they aren't even trying to help you with troubleshooting. What gives? Are they about to replace Sprint as the bottom of the barrell wireless company?

Help! Need a quick way to upgrade early

My LG shine is a piece of garbage and has frozen on me multiple times, and the selector know won't move to the left. I seriously hate this phone. I am not eligible for upgrade till October 09. What can I do? Any suggestions for an early upgrade with AT&T?

My Predicition When Verizon Gets The iPhone

That all the VZW fanboys who hated on it before with a passion will be touting it as the greatest phone ever (on their network, of course).

I'm already aggravated over their hypocrisy! 😡

Does it really take this long?

All this time since revealing the whole 850MHz 3G and so far they are only able to unveil it in Atlanta? Why is this taking so long? Any AT&T insiders can explain this? Where's AT&T's focus these days? Expanding? upgrading or fixing?

iphone service quality

So, I have a dilemma, I'm in NJ and for the past year I've been using my BB Curve without incident for personal & business. I now have the opportunity to upgrade and was considering the iphone 8g 3G, but I'm concerned about dropping calls and it's e-mail capability.

I love the features but don't want to get something that I may regret. Any feedback from NJ iphone users is greatly appreciated.

Maybe?

Maybe if you guys are patient things may get better.

The iPhone 3GS has been a huge hit for AT&T, and although they aren't saying how many customers they've stolen from other carriers, AT&T Mobility CEO Ralph De La Vega said they had "hundreds of thousands" of pre-orders.

That puts a lot of pressure on AT&T's network (which we reviewed recently), but the carrier is ready for it, AT&T spokesman Mark Siegel said. They're doing three major things to improve their coverage and speeds, one of which will have a huge positive effect on coverage in cities like New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

That major upgrade is known as "3G on 850 Mhz." In busy cities, some dropped calls and signal problems come because the 1900 M

Blackberry

Call me old fashion, but I still believe that the best blackberry is the curve 83xx series. It seems to me like the newer blackberry's all look pretty much the same, and don't have their own identity. Why even call a phone something different if you're going to give them all the same look, and mostly the same features (except no wifi, sorry verizon and sprint).
If there's anybody out there that upgraded from the 83 series to a 8900, bold, tour, etc. I would like to hear what you think about it. If it's an improvement over the curve, is it a big enough improvement to pay more for the phone?

Anyone here using AT&T in Atlanta?

Any scoop on how the network is working over there? Is it safe to say that Atlanta (now that its allocation is finished) has almost 3 times the capacity of any other network?

Upgrade Fees

I tell you what former AT&T compadres, I sure like saying we don't have an upgrade fee. Or better yet I sure like not having to justify an upgrade fee.

Curious if AT&T will ever go that way.

After reading a few of your posts, I can safely say that all that you're complaining about is not 100% true.
Trolls have come and gone in this forum.... and you're this year's PITA in the AT&T forum.

Gosh, I had not logged on in a month or so, and for some reason there's always a trouble maker in here (who secretly has pulls for VZW, Hmmmm, makes me wonder.... 🙄 )
