Okay, so my mom got the silver LG Shine when that was the only color, it was brand-spankin' new on ATT, and was $150. Due to reception issues and bluetooth malfunctioning she used her warranty to exchange for a new shine. But, because she pays no attention to what she is doing she broke it. It was in her pocket, screen outwards, and she ran into a table putting a huge dent in the phone and obliterating the underscreen, which she didnt notice until she went to answer it. She currently doesnt know what to do. She has been able to blindly make and receive calls, on again off again. My neighbor may or may not give her her phone and is hesitant. I currently am using iphone 3G with Microsoft Exchange Server. ATT rep told me I need the $45 a month plan for this to work but I have the $30 iphone data plan and it is working fine. Does anyone know if I am going to get hit with addiditional data charges by not having the $45 plan.

I am on my second Red shine in less than a year. I had the first on replace on warranty due to the phone doing stuff like shutting down and accessing features (including dialing) all by itself. The second phone is now starting to do the same thing. I have noticed that the numbers on the right side of the key pad do not want to work and now it is going into messaging and music sync on its own. Last night it started music sync and I had to shut the phone down to get it to stop. I could not end the application or do anything. It also has sent one message three times. I was told that this was a known problem when I got this replacement phone. BTW, there is no damage to the phone at all. Not even a scratch. Now my husband has a silv...
