HTC FUZE (Diamond Pro)

Does anyone know when this phone will be in stores? The original date was today, but I'm hearing that it's the first week of November. This phone is to replace the popular Tilt.

Correct? Voice & 3G Data networks are seperate?

Somebody in another forum, I will post the link below, says that one of the reasons ATT's 3G network is slowed down is bc it shares voice traffic with the 3G data.

I've always thought that ATT's voice & 3G data networks were seperate? Am I right, or am I wrong???

Here's the link to the discussion:

Let's Play the Jayshmay Drinking Game

In any post you read, if Jayshmay says any of the following words, you must take a liberal swig of your favorite beverage:

Nokia N95-3 (drink three times!)
eBay (drink twice)
unlocked
high-end
camera
megapixels

Any post you find where Jay does not mention his unlocked phones from eBay means everyone else has to drink.

🤣 😎 😲 😁 🤤

Of course this is all in fun, Jay. 😉

ATT, your so kind.

😕
We used to be part of a bigger company and sweet old ATT offered us a 6% employee discount.
That company cut us loose and now we're a smaller company. And ATT being as generous as they are bumped that employee discount up a whopping 2%! 😲
Not a hater, just sarcasm.
Oh, ATT everyone else offers us over 10% employee discounts.
What gives cheap skates?
And whoever actually uses all their rollover minutes?

The HTC FUZE

Well I got to play with the HTC FUZE and it is awsome...I love the slide out keyboard, which makes it way better then the touch dimond, if you havent used the thouch flow 3D OS, it takes some getting used to cause its not as sensitive as the Iphone but its still very easy to use once you get used to it. I also Love the 3.2 MPX Camera and the fact that it auto adjusts all the back lighting and focus's before every picture is awsome, I know that thier are phones out thier that can do this but this phone takes the best picture then any at&t phone that I have sold in the past 5 years that I have worked in this industry, althought the phone is awsome, thier is one main thing that bugged me, I loved the fact that it was way smaller then our TILT, ...

Questions: Help With New Account Setup @ AT&T

Ok So Here Is The Story....

My boyfriend and I are getting at&t. I currently have an account with U.S. CELLULAR. (UNDER MY NAME). I would like to take that number with me, is this possible. The AT&T Account will be under his name.

There are a few phones I am looking at. I like a phone that does almost anything. So my top picks are. Not in any order.

1. Red Blackberry Curve (I HAVE THIS NOW THROUGH US CELLULAR, I like it, but I think im bored with it.)

2. Iphone 3g (BOO HISS I KNOW..)

3. LG VU

4. Blackjack II

BusinessWeek Estimates the Cost of a Blackberry Bold

The research firm iSuppli performed a "tear down analysis" of the bold and has come to the conclusion that parts and assembly/testing costs a total of $169.41 per unit.

Assuming RIM sells the device to carriers in the $350 price range there would be about a 45% gross margin.

Expenses such as marketing, preloaded software, shipping, etc. are not figured into the price so the margin is an estimate.

In comparison, the Curve's estimated assembly cost was $103 and the iPhone 3G was determined to be $174.33.

So based on these numbers, what do you guess will be retail (locked) and 2 year contract price (with rebate and media discount, etc)?

I am guessing it will retail for a little over $400, with a final contract price initially at...

pocket mac - 3 questions

1. Pocket Mac lets any windows mobile phone work with a mac computer, right?

2. Does a Blackberry also need pocket mac to sync with a mac?

3. Can pocket mac be downloaded for free? All I've found is 39.99 for it.

Bonus question - I've had customers tell me they have had trouble using their mercury card with certain macs. Which ones does the included software not work with?

So I guess 4 questions.

Thanks in advance.

Why everyone digs on AT&T!!!

I have this theory about why people dig on AT&T... Pretty much its like when someone has something nicer or better then you, you resolve to making them look as bad as possible just like in a school yard play ground. So basically all these people that try and make AT&T look bad and Verizon better need to get a life. Every report out there shows that they are pretty much the same thing. People talking trash about the 3G network and all that stuff need to do better job on finding info. Just give it up they are the same company and AT&T need Verizon just like Verizon needs AT&T... They maybe different networks but without each other what would we have SPRINT??? Come on for reals people drop it... 🙂

Phone Question

Ok, so I need some advice. I recently purchased a yellow samsung rugby through att's website (full retail)...$229 after rebate. I've had the phone two weeks and the inside black part (that goes around the keypad and the screen) has a black coating of something and its peeling. Doesn't affect performance, but it looks like an eyesore. The bad part is I've already sent in my rebate. The lady at the returns department basically me told me to kiss off and that is physical damage and they can't return it. But this could in noway be my fault. Phone hasn't been dropped, dinged, left in car, NOTHING! Besides its the INSIDE part of the phone when its closed...So what would cause it to peel??? Am I just SOL?
