I have a question for people, is there any way to make an account upgrade eligible even when it isn't? It's basically to any reps out there who might know some special tricks. Or some customers who might have found a way too. Thanks.

I have a customer who purchased a Treo 750 and is trying to sync it with her mac. Since I am a windows person I haven't done this myself. However I told her she would need the missing sync software. Is there any special instructions I should give her because she is still having trouble with figuring it out?

Whats the 3g tower plan for att? Do they install new towers or just upgrade existing towers to run 3g. Any info on this plan online? Any Chicago specific?

I'm thinking of coming over to AT&T and wanted to know how they tread new handsets that you buy through them.

Do they typically have a 1 year warranty that if I have a problem with the phone (ie a button doesn't catch well or screen stops work) not a result of my usage, do they have a phone swapping program where they send a replacement phone and then I send the defective back?

I was just told by a Att sales rep at a store that the reason why my iphone 3g does not recieve a full signel was because att does not use the 850 freq, wont be active till Nov. Is this true?

as a BEUC rep...I cant stand the iphone... I'd say a good 40% of my calls involve a problem someone is having with an iPhone in one way or another.. 😕 Wouldnt be so bad, if we didnt just have to refer them to apple care most of the time.. ugh..

Does anyone know If this phone Is coming to At&t. It looks like a pretty nice phone. I know this Is the gsm version of the one Sprint has.

I just saw a promo on bestbuy.com saying they will be selling the Iphone in thier retail stores starting September 7th.....not only dose that piss me off since I work in a COR store but we have to order all our phone for our customers....if Best Buy gets actual shipments to sell instead of having to order them like us I think all COR RSC should go on strike....Its stupid enough that all the appple stores get them bye the hundreds....its taking money out of my pocket, and food out of my childrens mouths and im sick of it.

I have an At&t phone.....i used to work with them its a dealer line, ive noticed i cant send messages to tmobile customers, they can send me messages but they dont get mine, it was a problem about a year ago and got fixed without me having to say anything, i was just wondering if anyone knew or had an idea why it is like that.....any info is appericiated

I have tried AT&T and really want to like them but I have found their network to be inconsistent. I tried the network with a Blackberry Curve and then again with a Tilt. Both times I had many bars one minute and then a coupel the next. I would have 3G and then not have it in the same 30 minute period in the same place.

Is there a problem with AT&T's network. I am hearing from other people that they have had situations where they actually lost all service for a couple of days. Anyone else having that problem.

Currently I am a Verizon customer, but I am tired of their high prices for service. If I could find a better network I would swith immediately. So far, no luck. Advice and objective facts on this subject would be welcomed. ...

Does the iPhone 3g not support answer tones?

are there any network guys out there actually tracking dropped calls. for the past 3 weeks or so I've been dropping calls on the same street, pretty much at the same spot (I never dropped calls in said area)
there's gotta be some network issue, cause my phone refuses to hand off... I know I'm about to drop the call cause it'd get garbled, I look at my phone, and I'd barely have a bar. As soon as the call drops, :-o full bars.

If anyone's interested, my regional manager sent this to me. It's a few of the new phones we will be seeing this year. He did say that these dates may not be set in stone, ya know how at&t is....

So this lady calls in, the call was going well, she was nice at first, and she vid'd her acct. She says her msg icon wont go away. So I told her that it may be the vmail icon, so she curses at me and says its the txt msg icon. So I said ok, then I did the process to have the msg waiting indicatior taken off, and had her check the vmail I left, and it worked. Then she asked me if I deleted her txt msging, I told her no. But i knew it was the vmail icon. So I let her think she was right. And to my question.....Why dont csts listen?????

I got this sweet little phone for $15 from wallmart. It's prepaid but I can't use it. I had an "edge wireless" phone that got bought out by at&t recently and I just need a phone to get me by till my contract ends. I don't want to switch to at&t yet. Edge wireless had all unlocked phones, but they have gotten rid of them. How do I go about unlocking the phone?
