Are there any South Carolina ATT reps out there that have ordered iphones for customers? How long is it taking for the to arrive?

Anyone else at a store that ISNT having OPUS issues? It seems localized to TLG markets.

Placed order 7.15.08 for new iphone still no phone any thoughts on how long this should take I was told 7 to 10 days and would be notified by email that has not happen either Thanks

Has anyone else seen an increase in people talking about how bad the service has gotten since the switch to ATT from Cingular. I knew there would be some cause people just are like that but lately i have more and more people come in bad mouthing ATT and talking about how great Cingular was and how much better Verizon is.

Prime example a lady called me cause her phone would not make or receive calls inside her house of office building. But as soon as she goes outside it works. she was pissed smarting off about how "Verizon always had signal inside my house" real snotty like

so just wondering if anyone else is seeing the rise in traffic of these people like i am where my store is

Why is ATT being such a wanker and running and crying to daddy (read: FCC) about the planned merger of New Clearwire and Sprint's Xohm? Are they scared that they wont be/aren't better at something? What is the the deal with that? It was okay that the FCC allowed them (ATT) to keep the spectrum they picked up from the Dobson deal which falls into the same wave length as what they are fighting against with NC and Xohm. Whats good for the goose is good for the gander, right? I guess not in ATTs eyes.

Has anyone else received misinformation with the online coverage maps at AT&T? Coming from Verizon, I was very skeptical about starting new service with them recently because I wanted to make sure I would get service at my home. But after checking coverage on the website and having the store employee show me the coverage on his computer (which uses a different system), I decided to go with AT&T cause the service is labeled "BEST" with 3G coverage. Well, it definitely is not best and definitely does not have 3G. My phone cycles between 1-bar and "no service" and I have never once seen the screen say 3G, only Edge. When I call customer service, they are absolutely no help. Even in areas where I do get full signal on my phone, I constantly fee...

i have been up til now that i recently deselected my media net cuz i didnt need it temporarilly, but when i went back to reselect it at their website, suddenly their system is matching my plan options with my selected phone which is a "pda" phone thus the pda connect service is only available to me which IMO is rediculous. if they wanna charge more for the same service they should make it ...not the same but better. i already paid more for having a "pda" phone by buying the expensive phone itself.

anyway, i tried changing my phone in my profile on the website to a non-pda-phone but so far my options available to me are for pda users. so i'm wondering if i were to call in to complain, will the rep have a way of knowing what phone i re...

Okay, what is the deal/point of having a FAN number on your account if you receive no discounts from ATT? Just curious because someone suggested I do that at ATT last year and I have reaped none of the rewards.

So what does the FAN number do? The company I work for isn't a two bit joint if you know what I mean.


Also, venting as I look online for phones, and noticed the only good ones are going to cost you about 500 - 600 dollars unlocked, and it just ticked me off because I got the shine when it first came out and it broke 4 or 5 days past the thirty day period, and in return I got a Samsung SLM which is about as good as the SYNC, which was horrible, the earpiece and reception is sub par. I can't help but feel screwed over though ...

I really want to get this phone, but I refuse to pay more than $300 for it. I can't believe that after being out for almost a year this phone is still more than $380. (I've looked on amazon, wirelessimports)

My wife got the 3g 8G model. She doesn't like it after less than two weeks and her new job's location gets next to no AT&T coverage.
Is it cheaper to return the phone and pay restocking fee and partial monthly fees, etc. or cancel the account and pay the ETF keep the 3g to myself to upgrade my old iphone? Her account was a brand new one.

I am not liking some of the things i am hearing about the Iphone plus I am sick of waiting for it. The dropped calls is what bothers me mostly. Here's what i want in a phone. I would really like a touchscreen. I would like to access the internet. I would really like a music player. And I would really like to spend about 200.00 Any suggestions?

i have been using Apple computers and products since they only had green screens and own NO windows or other Microsoft based OS products. i've converted most of my family by preaching the gospel of Mac. when a client asks what kind of computer they should get, i refer them to Apple without hesitation.

i waited patiently and jealously, as i watched so many people use the life-altering iPhone.
the want for an iPhone gradually became a burning need...

when i got the unofficial word that the 3g iPhone was coming, i made up my mind. i would leave my trusted Verizon wireless (despite the fact that i get a decent discount on service and hardware) for the iphone 3g.

Verizon should teach the idiots at AT&T how to launch a profit making phone like Iphone. How is it that the stores ran out and customers have to wait for 7-10 business days before getting their set. At the same time Apple stores are loaded with 1000's of iphone sets. What a shame?!!!

Hi all. My son and I are flying to Bozeman on Saturday to go backpacking for a week in southern Montana (around Red Lodge just above Yellowstone). I really don't expect ANY cell phone to work where we will be camping up in the mountains, but does anyone know if our phones should work anywhere around that part of the state? I've had people tell me it's a "Verizon only" area, but I haven't confirmed that yet. Thanks in advance. -Matt

Hey all, I am using att and have use it for with a nokia n76 and an n95 and both phones will give me the error "web connection timed out" while im using the web browser. For example, google and type a search, then click the search button to get the error, I click it over and over about 3 or 4 times with the same error each time, then it will work. Anybody know why both phones have done that? I have had both phones automatically setup the medianet settings. Any clues????
