the new iPhone came out. Well, I guess there even less hope now. Why would anyone buy a phone like the V9, Z9 (btw, not that I like these phones) when the iPhone is $200?
Won't this hurt the future phone line up? If AT&T passed on the K850i for it being too expensive. What do you think is going to happen to the upcoming Xperia X1 or even the C902? (I'm sure these phone won't be available from AT&T)

Am I the only noticing this? It seems like AT&T is outsourcing customer service (not to India, I hope) but to other call centers that'll do the job cheaper.
It seems like everyday I get more and more irate customers on my line who complain about being transfered for hours before they get to talk to me. How the *** is this even possible?
Well, today I experienced just that. And let me tell you, it's very frustrating. I got a customer (I couldn't help him because she was an NBI customer) and all she wanted to do was add a line. I was transfered so many times I had to let the customer go and just call the customer back after I found the right dept. It took me 1hr 10mins to find that dept. The important thing to take note of is this is a worldwide release, whereas iPhone Gen1 was U.S. only.

By the way, I wonder how ATT's 3G network will handle all this DATA TRAFFIC, read the postings over at BGR, one person said the data speeds in Houston have dropped dramatically!

Hi there, ahs anyone tried this Chinese made iPhone clone on the AT&T network?

I dont know about some of the reps but I work in the east coast so we were the first people that started to sell the iphones in the country and when the central and western time zones opened Itunes slowed to a stop....can anyone explain to me why steve jobs didnt better prepair for this I mean every chistmas morning that same thing happens cause so many people are on itunes trying to activate a new account or downloading music, you would think he knows that this could happen and would do something to prevent this from happening.

So as the dust settles from yesterday, I wanted to let everyone know that I am thankful and the launch of the iphone 2 had little effect on me....

Store 1 - 13 new/12 ups.
Store 2 - 3 new/9 ups.

We didnt even move that many Vu's either. FYI, for those of you with ANR plans, there is a $8 soc you can add to demonstrate the TV. Very useful.

Ok, so I've asked a couple people and can't seem to get a universal answer. What exactly is AT&T's upgrade policy as far as early upgrades go? I know w/ Verizon and Nextel (when I use to have them) you could upgrade early (after one year) if you price plan was over a certin $$ figure. Shared lines had to wait till a few months before the end of their contract I know. But for a single or primary line is there an upgrade option after 1 year?

Any ATT stores have stock of Iphones today? Seems most ran out yesterday. Did the supposed shipment come today?

I have been with them for three years with the same number, I just got a call on my home number from my wife who said when she called mu cell that a girl answered I told her my phone did not ring, so I hang up with her and call my own number and yes indeed this girl does answer and she says she just got this number from AT&T. Tell me how in the HELL does AT&T give someones number who has been with them for three years to someone else? And before someone ask, NO I am not behind on my bill, I have NEVER paid my bill late ever. I am own the phone with them now and they wont my to come in to a store to fix there f^&k up. ...Are you guys having trouble activating the 3G iPhones today? I work for Sprint, and had 3 ppl so far come into my store to switch to Sprint and get the Instinct because theyre saying something about the iTunes servers going down today on launch date?

apparently ATT higher ups forgot to mention to us here at the kiosks that if there is an apple store in our mall that we WON'T be allowed to sell the iphone but we will still be open for the day

Yesterday something happened in my store that I am really upset about. Franco1903 is one of the sales reps I work with and he had something terrible happen.

Two white trash people came in to the store and needed help with their rebate that was denied them. Franco took the time to call in and get the matter resolved and our district manager even gave them a new BB car charger to boot. Then the unthinkable happened.

The white trash dude stole Franco's brand new unlocked k850i. My district manager and I were redoing the accessory wall and he grabbed it while getting a drink from our water fountain. It was on a shelf nearby.

I know some will say it was Franco's fault that he didn't have it in his pocket or in a better location, but...

I know most of you tech junkies could probably care less about this phone...But, does anybody have any info on this phone? VZW and sprint are coming out with some new rugged phones in July/Q3 it seems like, and this phone was approved by FCC forever ago w/ AT&T branding. Any info would be appreciated, I'd just like to have a rugged phone as a secondary phone to take w/ me on occasion. Thanks
