i have tries to restore my iphone software through itunes but after about 10 incoming text messages the alert sound just won't go off anymore......anyone having this problem?

should i just take it to the apple genius bar and have them replace it?

I work for alltel, currently they provide me with a techline a PC6800, touchscreen etc you know the deal, but i am moving and trasnfering to a bigger market, a 3g market where my phone may be inferior, i am wondering being that my work phone is my personal phone as well, would anybody recommend buying an iphone on the side and does anybody have an estimation on how much the phone per month actually cost with tax.

I am going to use my knowledge and research skills to find you the best deals on cell phones out there. These "deals" will be updated weekly. I will be covering Tmo, Att, and Sprint. We don't have Verizon where I live so no VZW stuff at the moment.

I did a quick search but couldn't find what I am looking for and the ATT site is firewalled.

What I want to know is, what is the charge per megabyte on the ATT network, and what services count towards that total? Also, what plan is available to eliminate that charge?

I currently have MetroPCS and live in the DFW area. I want to get AT&T, but they want an extremely high deposit. My question is do I get the money back or credited towards bills if I do pay the deposit??

Their marketing approach really sucks. Really gives me 7 to 10 days to change my mind IMO.

What is the reasoning behing making people go to the stores for the iPhone? They sell them online to their pure business users, but it seems odd they would rather have people wait in lines, waste time calling their stores just to determine status versus ordering online and being done with it.

Any thoughts?

Ok I bought the Iphone today from an ATT store and they said they were going to call me when it comes in.

If I go in tomorrow and they have them, can I get them, or do I need to wait for them to call me?

Or will they not have any to sell tomorrow because they are all going to people who already bought them?

Insane is the customer who, when told we have no phones in stock, fly off the hook and demand you give them directions to where they can go and get one right now. Then when you explain there is no place nearby (we have no Apple stores within 3 hours), they go into what I can only describe as a detox frenzy, storm out of the store, slam their car door and peel out through the parking lot as if their tantrum will somehow create an iPhone for them.

I got a krzr with a Sim card and i am upgrading to the Iphone. How do they activate it? I am assuming they don't use the Sim. Am I gonna have to DL my contacts to the PC and then to the Iphone? Does it come with a data cable to connect the Iphone to computer?

Does anyone know if AT&T will have the first iphone refurbs anytime soon again, I am asking because I heard that if you bought an iphone after May 27 you could trade it in on a new one today, so I am thinking that there should be some refurbs soon. anyone know?
