I just took my friend's out-of-contract account by using change of responsibility (COR). I've confirmed twice that there is no long-term contract whatsoever. But T-Mo doesn't allow me to upgrade the phone even if my account is out of contract and said I could port my number away if I really want good price on a new handset.

Is it all T-Mo can do? Or I should really port the number away. The reason why I took the account is that I really like the "number".

Hey, i just got tmobile a couple days ago, i switched from verizon... I love it! Its way better than verizon, and not to mention cheaper.

Yea so, i received 5 messages, and sent 5, and on the tmobile website, it says 0 sent 0 recieved, when i dialed #msg# it said 0, and when i called tmobile, they said 0. I have a blackberry 7105t without the data plan, i was wondering by mistake did i get free text messaging, or theyll charge me later, has one else experienced this? Let me know. Thank you

Lets say my parents start a family plan contract between the 2 of them on January 1st 2006...and I add a line on March 1, 2006...when there contract is up on Jan 1, 2007 if they cancel what happens to me who still has 3 months on contract?

Do i get the ("lets say") 1000 family minutes for the 7.99 a month i pay for my line?

My 1 year contract with t-mo will be up febuary 11th 2006 I want to switch to a famly talk plan this friday thought a couple of questions 1. i guess my current credit ratting has me aproved for 2 lines but if I switch will I be able to go to 3 on a tmobile famly talk plan. i have never been late with a payment. 2 if I change to a famly plan will I be on a new contract IE my current phone the sk2 will not then be eligable for a upgarde till 11 months from now? and 3 if I do have to pay a deposit for the third line how much will that be? I've read several reviews now on the new Treo 700, and so far, it seems as if the Palm/MS folks have rushed out a slightly inferior product.

Software bugs, multi step functions for simple tasks, resolution less than a 650, memory mgmt issues. Im hoping that if/when Palm makes a 700P, the Palm OS wont have these problems. It seems more of a MS Mobile topic than the phone itself. PLUS, Verizon's service plans stink and their data prices are gasoline-like!I'll stick with my TM plan and probably get an unlocked 650...............

I looked at T-Mobile's Website but I learned from experienced not to trust that type of information. So I want to get feeback from people using Cingular in South Florida. Would Verizon or Cingular be a better option?

Have you ever heard of the Motorola m900 fixed car phone?

I have heard our local Alltel/Western Wireless/CellularOne stores bragging about this phone being the answer to a bag phone (supposed to have 3 watts of power w/o needing a booster to get there). Apparently Motorola is now making an m800 which handles CDMA/Analog? ANY HELP ON THIS ONE WOULD GREAT?!? 😳

I am planning on purchasing a Sidekick next month. I don't talk on my cell phone that much, I just mainly use it for text messaging,etc., so I was wondering if unused minutes are carried over to the next month with T-Mobile, like Cingular's Rollover?

Here comes the spanking new TREO 700..........for Verizon..........with Windows Mobile 5 OS...............and where is TM? Nowhere to be found. In fact, I have heard from more than a few folks in the 'know' that say TM will NOT carry anymore Palm products at all. SO.............if there is going to be a 700 GSM phone with the Palm OS, it aint gonna be with TM...........which of course means paying 500-600 for an unlocked Cingular if/when the time comes. Its so godamned frustraing as a TM customer all these years (since Omnipoint) that they are clueless when it comes to customer wants/needs and updated product selection.
