BB 7105............NOT

Went to my TM store to play around with the BB 7105. What a disappointment. First off, it feels like the plastic demo models that stores display. I almost thought it was a demo until I turned it on!! Very chinsy feel, including the keypad. I made some calls using all the normal phone functions that I normally use on my phone. My 2nd pet peeve is the lack of arrow keys. ALL navigating MUST go thru the scroll wheel. TERRIBLE for those that use the phone in the left hand. This eliminates one handed use. I wanted to redial a number and after hitting the Redial key, I had to use my other hand to scroll down the call list. Sure, I could just switch to my right hand for phone use, but thats not the point. The data part of the phone is n...

T-Mobile Referral Program

Does T-Mobile have a referral program? If I'm not mistaken, ALL of the other carriers offer around a $25 bill credit for referring someone to the company and if they open up a seperate account(example: can't refer anyone who's added to your own account on a family plan)

I've never heard of T-Mobile having this promotion...but if they do in fact have it...how does one use it? Sprint, for instance, you dial #REF and enter in the phone number, Verizon we mail in a form to our master agent, etcetera.

If you know or have heard about this please let me know! 🙂 I'd like to use it as a tool to generate future customers. Thanks!

About to get Tmobile service (Family Plan)

Is there some sort of a Tmobile Employee referral program like that of sprint? I need a 4 line shared plan and am interested in the 69.99 (for the first 2) plan.

Password required when calling t-mo Cust Svc?

I was calling T-Mo customer service today to ask them a question regarding how my account was setup. As usual, they asked for my mobile # and last four of my SSN. Next they asked me for a password (not my t-mobile.com password either). I have never had this happen before. Is this something new?

T-Mo in Phoenix/Scottsdale

I currently have Verizon service which was fine while I lived in Philly, but now I live in Scottsdale (McDowell Ranch) and my Verizon service begs a lot to be desired... not that its bad but its not worth the 150+ I spend each month.

If there is anybody in here that lives in the desert how is your service? Like I said I'm on the east side, Scottsdale to Tempe.

I talk a good bit on my phone and I sms a good bit as well. I currently have the Moto815 and the LG VX 9800. What phones have you all liked and been good.

Cheers

2 year contract

Well, T-mobile has done what Ive been afraid they were going to do: they've gone over almost entirely to 2 year contracts on upgrades.

That pretty much kills my last reason to stay with them. Ive been increasingly dissatisfied with the service and especially the selection of phones.

The primary reason I stayed with them was because I was not thrilled with signing a 2 year contract with any company. Now it looks as if I'm going to have to.

I use too many minutes a month to make pre-paid a viable option.

I would gladly pay a slightly higher cost for the phone in favor of a 1 year contract.... instead my options are discounted greatly for 2 years or no discount for no contract.

*sighs*

T-Mobile versus Cingular in Chicago: I did a personal test!

I personally tested the coverage of both GSM carriers in the fabulous city of Chicago where I live. I had a prepaid Cingular card that came with my nokia phone (which I unlocked to use with my T-Mobile service.) Well I ran out of whenever minutes this month so I decided to use up my Cingular prepaid time to last me to next month.

Cingular did not get signal in areas where I always had full signal strength with T-Mobile. In fact, in the lobby of my building I got no signal with Cingular, whereas with T-Mobile I always get 5 out of 7 bars!

So there you have it, solid proof that T-Mobile is better than Cingular in Chicago.

Cingular may give you coverage out in the middle of nowhere, but T-Mobile gives you coverage where you need and...

Attn. Shoppers purchasing T-Mobile phones at Walmart.......

To all the people who decided to buy their T-Mobile phones from Walmart this Christmas, TAKE ALL YOUR PROBLEMS WITH YOUR PHONE OR PLAN BACK TO WALMART!!!! I have customers that come in to my store make me go through the whole presentation explaining everything, only to say thanks, I'm just going to check out Walmart's prices first. Then that same person will come back to my store with questions like "can you show me how to setup my voicemail" or "can you enter in this list of phones numbers to my phonebook because I don't know how". Authorized dealers do not get paid to deal with your stupidity. If you bought your phone from me, I would have shown you how to use everything because that's my job. I want a satisfied customer. Walmart doesn't ...

Tmo To Go

hey,

anyone in the know...will T-Mobile change the specifics of their prepaid phone service any time soon? What i mean is, most other services offer unlimited nights/weekends on prepaid, which puts a damper on the whole "125 mins to start off with." Will TMO cave in and offer a brand new prepaid platform anytime soon? They say the future is prepaid...and I don't see it without N/W.
