Network Speed on V300?

I have question about a network setup option i have on my motorola V300. The third option in the network setup up menu gives you the option of speed, I'm assuming speed of the network? Which speed is best for optimal signal strength and quality on tmobiles network(slow, medium, fast, continuous)? I've looked in my v300 owners manual but don't find any information about it. Does anyone know whats best? My Samsung E715 doesn't have that option (or not that I found anyway).

Requiem for Nokia 6610

I have one of these as one of my personal phones, and it is one of the finest phones I've ever used. I just realized how weak our Nokia selection is right now, and I wonder why. T-Mobile has no decent mid-range Nokia model. The 6010 is a bare bones freebie, the 6800 is wacky and outdated, and really only appeals to a certain group of people. The 6600 is a great phone, but its cost and specialized function doesn't make it popular with a casual user. I wonder why we can't offer something a little more appealing? Even having something like the 3120, which is a short step up from the 6010, would be great. Does anybody have any opinions/info on this?

Holy Crap

I just talked to one of my customers that I activated on a two line family plan a couple of months ago. Somehow he keeps getting double-billed on the access fee for his plan, as if he had two seperate 800 minute family share plans, and he apparently has been over-paying for several months. I didn't understand why he wouldn't have questioned it before and then I see on his account that his current bill is something like $7000! Apparently he is some sort of marketing guy and travels all over Asia and India, uses his home T-Mobile number, and his company just forks over to pay his cell phone bill... no wonder he didn't catch on to the "small" problem of an extra $70! If one of you care reps gets the call from this guy, don't hassle him abou...

Bigger =/= Better!

Am I just being touchy again, or is the constant ragging on the size of the TMobile customer base getting REALLY old? It's so typically American to assume that the bigger a company is, the better it is, and that is such a fallacy. By this reasoning, TGI Fridays is a BETTER restaurant than the locally owned bistro down the street where the four star chef handcrafts your food to your order. Home Depot is BETTER than the local hardware store that keeps weird old fixtures and discontinued, hard to find items that are needed for the type of homes your area has. Windows BETTER than Linux? I think not. Ford better than Ferrari? Don't make me laugh.

A smaller, leaner company is more aggressive in serving its customers because it needs to b...

question for care reps re: upgrading

my contract is up either next month (feb) or in march, i am looking to do an upgrade, i have been on the $39.99 plan the whole time (no i am not looking for a handout) and i am looking at buying the Sharp Tm-150, and also switching my plan to the new $45.99 plan at the same time, my question is this, does every customer who is renewing get new customer pricing on equipment? or is there some form of pricing scale? i am asking so i know what to expect in terms of the phone cost, also do corporate stores process upgrades? and can phone costs be billed to the acct or must the phone be paid for in person? that is all 😎

Coverage in Washington, DC

I'm trying to find out what the coverage is like in the DC area. If I go to places like New York or San Francisco or Cleveland am I going to have a signal?

Looking at the coverage map it looks like there is sparse coverage. I am thinking of buying the Samsung E-150 and signing up with T-Mobile but I am skeptical of their coverage...

Thoughts on coverage?

Motorola Razer

I heard this morning from a rep at the local tmobile store that they were going to offer the Mororola V3 Razor phone in February (which has been offered in Europe for some time). Does anyone have confirmation of this?
Thanks.

Bluetooth OBEX problem with photo kiosk

We just got a new photo kiosk in one of my locations, and it has Bluetooth capability. However, today I tried to send a photo from my V600 to it, and I couldn't seem to get the two devices to see each other. Does anybody have any suggestions? The kiosk said it was ready to receive, and I got the phone to the object exchange, but nothing happened.

old phones as new phones???????

Can somebody PLEASE tell me why some indirect dealers are selling nokia 3390's as "new" phones? (amongst other models) I mean I know if you're a customer it's your choice and you make the decisions, and if you accept a free 3390 with new service-it's on you...but why? We have so much better than that available for free!
