New Phones & New Plans

I know that people have mentioned the 45.99 for 1000 & N/W but I have yet to see it on T-mobile's site. Can I get this plan at a T-mobile store or a third party such as Amazon.com or do I have to wait until T-mobile "officially" announces the rate plan?

Also, Does anyone know if T-mo will be offering any new phones within the next 3/4 months? I haven't heard much chatter about this lately.

I have a nokia 6610 now which is getting me by but I am considering a new phone. I would hate to get a new one if there are some nice ones coming out soon and also wondering how cumbersome it will be to get the new rate plan.

Thanks!

Advice. . .

I am a dealer for t-mobile and i have been having some service problems but I havent got any good answers from cc. First anyone else having problems logging on to my tmobile? I have not been able to log on for over a month.

Secondly, Ive been having some coverage issues where i live (NE ohio). I have used pcc and I am in a "good" area. I have a E715 and my siglnal constantly bounces up and down and cuts in and out. Would this have anything to do with the sim because the sim i have active is an old voice stream sim.

Are there any tmobile phones that have better signal strength? becuase I have been thinking about buying one off ebay or something. . .Thanks for the advice.

Hacker...clarification

Right from the Phonescoope home page. This should set a lot of people at ease.

T-Mobile Responds to Hacking Case

Today, 12:44 AM source: T-Mobile USA

In October 2004, Nicholas Jacobsen was arrested for compromising T-Mobile's back-end computer systems. The breach occurred in October 2003, when the hacker gained to access names and Social Security numbers of 400 T-Mobile subscribers. T-Mobile immediately closed the hacker's entryway, and notified the Secret Service. No other subscriber data was compromised at the time, not even the victims credit card numbers, which are stored on a separate server. Once the Secret Service cleared T-Mobile to do so, each victim was notified in writing. T-Mobile and the Secret Service continued ...

Moto V3

As Cingular's 100 day exclusive is drawing near the end on this phone, does T-Mobile plan to carry it? I know with Cingular there will be a price drop. I figure around $350 on a 2yr, with a MIR.

Showing the Cingular love,

A little competition

We must be stealing a lot of customers from the other carriers, they must be worried.

Philly Area Coverage?

Hi All,

I've heard good (outside) and bad (in buildings) about T-Mo Coverage. Currently have Verizon Wireless - great coverage, but, I really want the Blackberry 7100t.

Travel mostly between King of Prussia and Plymouth meeting - will probably expand the commuteto either Warminster (probably using the PA TPK) ot New castle DE 76 to 476 to 95 to 495.

Any comments on these coverage areas, and the indoor reception?

THANKS!

Confused over T-Mobile messaging systems

Perhaps, some good-natured T-Mobile reps or users can explain these things to me:

I have T-zones, a family voice plan, and an old SE T300, which I like BTW. I can send and receive SMS without problems. When someone sent me an email to [email protected], it would come as an MMS (“picture message”) even if it was just text. In the opposite direction, if I wanted to send an email from phone, I used picture message and it was delivered as an email with a nice T-Mobile graphics and a proud “this message was sent from a T-Mobile phone”. Everything was great!

Last couple of days, I cannot be reached under my tmomail.net address, emails get bounced with a “service not available” message and they are not delivered as either SMS or MMS. ...

Ok . . .

I asked for that thread: "Super Detailed Coverage Map . . ." to be taken off. It might be kind of late now, but "better late than never". I am sorry to anyone this bothered. I didn't really think it was a bad idea since it was on another site posted and there wasn't anyone saying anything. But I am human and human's do mistakes. Sorry again. Thanks for taking you're time to read this! 🙂

Cheers to t-mobiles 39.99 plan options

Being a national account rep for cingular, tmobile and sprint. I have to say cheers to tmobile for offering so many suitable options at the all important 39.99 mark. Never has it been easier to port someone out of their respective carrier with the get more message. Tmobile is striaght forward, easy to activate and it has by far, the least amount of problems in the all important 14 day trial period.
Thanks tmobile for making my life easier.

Reporting Coverage

How do I report coverage issues? I just signed up for T-Mobile and queried their website on a zip code. Website came up positive, i.e., confirmed coverage. I find now that coverage in the town concerned is nonexistant. I want to the nearest T-Mobile shore and they brought up a pretty detailed map of the area coverage on their computer. Right enough, the town concerned is in a coverage hole, i.e. coverage is to the East and West, North and South.
