Is alltel a PCS company or pcs and cellular(850mhz)?

Does anyone know if a Verizon razr can be put on to alltel service?? Also if we flash it with alltel UI will that make it work on alltel. If so who and where would flash it???

I am wanting to find out about flashing a CDMA phone with Alltel software. Does anyone know of a program, or a box that does it? Do you know of a tech site that will explain the file layout, etc?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I am new to this part of the country. I did alot of research on a new cell provider. Cinglular was great where I was from, But here in New Mexico they are still lacking in the service department. Thought I would give alltel a try. The research I did lead me to beleive they would have good service here. I was trying to not use verizon. Well got the service 6 days ago, and it does ok, but does not work in the areas the alltel clerk said it would. Yes it was an alltel store not a mall booth. I would like to know what my options are for getting out of the activation fee as well. I know they have a 15 day cancellation. So I know I can get out of the service agreement, But am I still responsible for they activation fee. Verizon is not charging an ...

What can we expect new from Alltel this fall? Services,plans,phones etc.

Ok...I've got the Moto equivent of the "blue screen of death"...the jumbled rainbow screen. Are there any firmware fixes available yet?

We just got in our new demo phones for them it is very cute looks like the pebble!! But I was wondering if anyone knows the pricing on them yet?? Thanks for your help!!

I own the razr, i'm disappointed. Will anything new be coming out soon? Or should I try and obtain the Pantech or one of the newer LG's?

Why does it seem that everytime I post an honest question or request of information it's belittled, stomped on and filled with insults directed torwards me. FYI, I'm far from a child. I was at sams club today looking at there alltel phones, along with sprint. They has some really crappy ones! They were selling the LG 3100 yup you heard me right 3100! It didnt even have a color screen they also had the nokia 3587i, they were both free with a 2 year activation. They did not have a dumby phone of the 3587 so instead they had a 6010. way to confuse pplz! So the picture was different then the dummby phone! I asked the dude why they had such crappy old phone and then i said well sprint has a free camera phone and the 2 little skinny "razrish" phones for less then 89. The alltel razr was 109 with contract. He just said nothing! Then he started asking if me and my friend had a cell phone, and i was like yeah alltel and it sucks! ...

Ok so i changed my mind, alltel is great, there plans are cheap, the service works great and great reception, except in my basement. So only the customer service is bad and if you have a problem with your phone you are toast~!~!!!!
