How much is it to get unlimited data plan for your PDA? I assume it's an add on to your normal phone plan and does it give you unlimited use of PDA for email and web, and can you send unlimited pics attached through email?

And if you added text what is that, $15?

Any word of more phones being released for Alltel before Christmas?

Yeah my E815 has been switching from Digital to EVDO the past couple of days and been killing my battery. I live in Columbia, SC. How long is this going to be going on?

Alltel is coming out with a new phone! The kyocera sh!tflip! This phone features a crappy little bar style phone on the front, with keys so small even a munchkin from the Wizard of Oz couldn't dial on, and a small screen similiar to the motorola star tracs of 1999. Once you open the creaking hinge that will break in less than a week garunteed, you will find a complete qwerty keyboard with keys similar in size to the point of a pencil. The inside also features a small screen, similar to the size of a George Bush postage stamp. The phone is great with features such as the same ringtones the Kyocera 2135 had, and a similar camera to the LG 5450. This phone also has features like bluetooth, that works up to 3 inches away. Why couldn't verizon keep the original UI of their phones, and then alltel could make their own dumb UI and then that would go along with their dumb phones=i dumb phone!!

OK I was sooo wrong! My friend told me that she get 500 any provider text messages and unlimited verizon messages for 10 bucks a month! I was like sweetness, I love to text on my work phone that has unlimited text, but I want to c how much texting is on my alltel phone bcause my 16 yr old wants it! SO i called them up since it wasnt on their fantastic website (sarcastic!) and the representative told me that text messaging unlimited was 19.95 a month! I had a stroke!!! With taxes that would be about 26 she figured out, and so that would be 26 bucks for texting on a plan that is only 63 a month! a third of my bill would be text messages! WTF! This is rediculous! I am definately swithcing to verizon when my contract is up, buying a cheap 6255i ...

I have a razr and downloaded a ringtone from alltel new website service. But the ringtone will not show up in my ringtone menu, it is still in the text message they send you. any ideas? thanks

Is the switch to Alltel worth the effort?
Most my calls go to Houston or Detroit. Only thing that scares me is the roaming costs using Alltel if I take a cross country driving trip.
So Alltel or stay with Tmoble?

NOw I have a sweet music playing feature rich phone that can kick the razrs ass any day!

😲 Nokia makes bad flip phones! They might be cool, but not made well I just dropped my 6255i on my kitchen wood floor, three feet at the most and it was so bad that I have to get a new phone! The glued on plastic cover on the faceplate came halfway off and so i pulled it all the way off, the hing cracked and the entire phone has a huge crack on the side! SAD!!!
this is also the same phone that cant do a prl update because it has a locked code in it taht got "lost" when good old cell one swithced to crappy alltel!!!!
So now i am wondering what phone i should get. I have 9 more months left in my contract so I cant renew. I found a razr v3 on ebay for 155 with a buy it now and free s&h! If the esn is cleared, the water indicator is not red...

Leaking some news down the pipeline:

Alltel will release the LG ax 245 on Thurs 11/9

It's a grey flip phone with bluetooth and a VGA camera. It's looks just like the ax5000, but this one's grey and its got bluetooth...


There's also a new blackberry coming on on either the following week or the week after that, but definately in November.

Also, if you haven't already heard, there's 2 new Razr's being released pretty soon (pre-XMAS) that are white and red, respectfully, but both with black interiors. These will have micro-SD memory card slots.

Has anyone had much experience with the newer Moto KRZR? How is the reception compared to the V710 or E815?

Does anyone have the 411 about when Alltel will be adding EV-DO in Lynchburg, VA, I heard rumors that is might be before 2007, seems a little early to me, and not enough supporting population. Any foreknowledge would be great!

The base-pay increase was nice, but what's the deal with the quota increase along with it...

Today Alltel announce the on set of serveral new handsets! The V3M in 2 colors (silver and burgandy) the Moto Q, Samsung U520, Blackberry 8700 series, 2 more LG's ( not sure of the numbers but basic camera phones with Bliutooth), Treo 700(Palm OS) , Treo 700( Windows OS) and another Samsung called the "wafer" (similar I am guessing from the specs to be like the T-Mobile Slim bar style Samsung). So there you go phone freaks!! Hope you all enjoy!
