Motorola V600

I've been trying to upgrade the firmware for a few days now and am having trouble. Not due to any incompetence on my part but maybe to my lack of true familiarity with Windows systems. Tried last week on a Windows2000 Pro machine: no dice, the PST and Motorola software would not acknowledge the driver, kept giving me an error about digital signature? Tried again two times, once on Win98 and another again on 2000Pro. Don't have XP (except virtual PC and I know that will not work). My question is, can anyone here provide a detailed step by step on how to Flex and Flash and what operating system you did it successfully with.

Placed my order at about 9:30 this morning and it will be here tomorrow.

I had a special offer in the mail that I got that gave me a credit on my account if I signed up for a new contract before the 31st. Well, I can't find the number they gave me to call, and the rep. I talked to wasn't any help. Does anyone know the number to call when you get those in the mail. It sure would be nice to get that credit after paying so much for this phone 😁 .

I just ordered my v600 through nbo for 220 the rep said without a discount it would have been 360 i should be getting it wed cause i ordered it after 3 and there shipments go out at 3

i was quoted 285 with 1 yr contract, 245 with 2 yr contract.
seems kinda high...gonna see what my nbo rep can do for me...ive been seeing them for much lower on the boards.

I talked with several people at ATT. Basically, if I had a business account or if I was a new customer, I could order the phone. But because I am a current customer (I guess they dont like people who pay them $50 per month) I cant get it.
I have found a great site to order face plates, etc. for the v600 though...

I ordered mine through CS today (Monday) at 1pm. Will be here 36 to 72 hours from now. I live in Newark, Delaware which might have something to do with it.

The phone is available through Customer Care and NBO channels today. If a representative indicates that the phone is not available, they are incorrect.

Some stores may have units in stock today, but most do not.

Ok, so what gives? I called a couple corporate stores and dealers in downtown Chicago, called the 1-800-Imagine AT&T direct sales number and all of them said they're expecting it in a couple weeks. Where are people purchasing this thing from? I agree with a previous thread..."show me the pictures!" Its not even on the AT&T Wireless website yet..

For all of you non plemix people out there... When do you think the phone will be released now? Does it look like it is coming this Monday? Have you heard anyhting definite? (Yes I know nothing is true of what the moto people say. I have been waiting for this phone since Dec.)

The Motorola V600 is now in the AT&T storage areas. According to a sales representative at a newly opened AT&T Wireless store, "It is just a matter of days before the release." He also had a dummy Motorola V600 Phone. Yes, it is possible that the representative could have been "lying", but there would be no reason for it. He wasn't offering me anything and trying to sway me a certain way. Odds are, within the next week, the phone will be available for AT&T Wireless.

The V600 is officially available through AT&T. I just placed an order through NBO and should have the phone in hand tomorrow morning! 🤣

Can someone please post the MMS Setup for ATT. Much thanks...

The default light ID color setting is supposed to be overridden when a call comes in from a phonebook category with a different color setting chosen, so callers from a given category are displayed by the categorie's light color and general calls are displayed by the default color I thought. However calls from numbers in specific categories are coming in with the default color rather than the category's color, defeating the point of having different colors for different categories. I must be doing something wrong but I cannot figure out what. Please help.

If the phone truly comes out today someone needs to post some pics of them buying it, etc.!
