Motorola V600

Well I haven't posted in some time (except the post about 10 minutes ago)

I have had 2 problems and they are related:

1) I could not receive OTA messages from AT&T. I tried AT&T technical support, but I got no answer as to why I could not receive these OTA messages. It killed me.

2) I could not remove my Voicemail Icon despite the fact I had already accessed the voicemail.

AFTER removing the voicemail icon by calling my 10 digit wireless number (WITHOUT the 4 digit access code) this removed the voicemail icon. THEN I went and decided to try the OTA message again....both mMode and MMS finally went through. If you were unable to receive OTA messages it seems like it is related to the fact that the VMI was not removed.

got my v600 and love it, with one exception:
when i miss a call and someone leaves a voice message, it registers in my phone as a text message, not a voice mail message. I've tested this by calling myself and when i check my voice mail, the message is there; the problem is that i'll never know the messages are iin voice mail, because all i get are strange text messages, that look like _@. anyone know what's wring or what i need to do? thanks in advance.

OK SO LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT YOU GUYS ARE SAYING THAT THE V600 WILL BE RELEASED BY AT&T TODAY ON THE 26th so they will get it in their stores on tuesday whihc is what day they tell me that they get their shipments on>?? not only that but wont this phone sell out instantly wont there be lines in front of the store??? I WANT A V600 SO BAD! but i have tmobile and dont know how to set up the advanced crap SOMEONE HELP 😎

Alright kids, I desperately need FW version TRIPLETS_G_0B.09.1FR_A1. This release supports the new camera on the v400/v600 and flashing with 9.1DR or 9.23 kills the camera. I know first hand. And second and third. I also really want to get my hands on the newest v600 flash, I have several I'm looking to sell, but I want the latest firmware on it beforehand. And I am willing to give an HS-810 to anyone who can accomodte either of my two requests. Dead serious, no joke, msg me please.

Cassie, i got my phone where you told me...however,my voicemail icon goes away, perhaps you have really old message in there somewhere...i would think we have the same model....or ware of the phones...i can check, if i knew how.. 😕

Still unable to receive text message? I'm confident this is keeping me from setting up Mmode as I am unable to receive the browser message from AT&T to insert my PIN.

I am, as we speak, working with some very nice people from AT&T to troubleshoot the issues?

Spencer, this is to funny.....at first I was able to send/receive messages instantly and you were not? Now, after doing nothing to my phone, the problem is reversed?

First some fanatics talk themselves into nearly spending $600 on a phone from a webpage, and then you obsess over altering its software so it works better.

You people are worse then Star Wars geeks who wait in line weeks for a ticket, I swear to god.

Now yes, I say this because I am utterly jealous...

But

I will spend only $300 (if that) and I'll have a version with stable software. Who's laughing now? Ha! And all I had to do was wait just a couple more weeks. Sure you have your Plemix orders, but none completed more then a month ago.

Its called life, liberty, and the pursuit of HAPPINESS. Different things make differnt people happy. The flashers/flexers were quite content doing what they do.. Let them do it in peace. If you're waiting for an AT&T version.. wait in peace. Compare/contrast the differences, offer helpful tips & advice. Thats what a FORUM does.

I am looking for the TRIPLETS_G_0B.09.9ER version for my V600? Can anyone point me to the site that must exist somewhere that has it? Does anyone have eperience with it?

I had purchased a v600 from extele.com last week, and i think i might have a faulty ear piece. Even when turned all the way up, it seems as if it's at its lowest level.

Is this a software or a hardware problem?

I just wanted to happily say that my Palm T3 works just fine with my V600 and connecting via AT&T GPRS service.

On your V600 select Settings, Connections, Bluetooth, Setup, Find Me (to put it in discoverable mode).

In the Phone Link application (on your Palm) select Motorola then TP280i. It will find your phone, let them handshake, connect, put the same PIN in on both and they will happily bind.

Select AT&T Wireless GPRS as your Network Service on your Palm. Or whoever your provider is.

That's it. I was checking email and surfing just fine on my Palm now, noticably faster than my "dial up" PPP connection.

😡 I know this topic is not sexy or even a bit exciting but I would appreciate some help....I'm trying to setup my MMode....after going to AT&T and securing my PIN.....I have not received a Browser confirmation message from AT&T. Can anyone help? I seem to be having trouble receiving text messages in general?

Anyone had a problem with their V600 microphone. Meaning can you hear the person on the other end but they cant hear you?

Ok, well I just learned (maybe you all did) that there is a Euro version and Asian version of this phone. I was one of the fortunate souls that got one of each. To be honest with you I hate the Asian version.

The Euro version allows for delivery confirmation on SMS/ MMS, etc whereas the other doesn't. Also, the euroversion allows you to forward all pics (including wallpapers) where the other one doesn't.

I found out the hard way. Plemix sent me the asian one, and I saw it was different than the first one I got from them. The day I got it, I noticed it and emailed them. I didn't use the phone at all. I asked them if they could exchange it for the Euro one. I said I'd pay for the shipping to and from there. They said they would ...

😕 Is anyone else out there experiencing problems with the Voice Mail indicator light not working correctly with the V600 and AT&T? Or a fix to the problem? Also, has anyone noticed that text messages are working on a several hour delay with their AT&T service and the V600?

Do you think that the AT&T version of this phone to be avaialble next week might solve this problem? I am new to this Flex/Flash thing so I also am curious to know if you think that the AT&T version of the Flash/Flex will be available for those of us who bought early through Plemix?
