Next Batch of V600 in about 2 weeks...

Talked to my contact (Works at Moto) who actually got me a v600, and I had to give it back to him to replace it because of a malfunction. He informed me yesterday that they are still having problems with software but the hardware is ready to go. He said that next batch should be going out in about 2 weeks...can't wait to get the phone back. It's a great phone!

Free SE T226 from ATT

I just got a notice in the mail that ATT and SE are sending me a free phone. It's a non-transferable upgrade from the T68i. I wish they were sending me the V600!https://www.phonescoop.com/phones/p_foru m.php?fm=p&ff=247&fi=n#

The notice said to expect the T226 in 2-4 weeks.

Verizon?

Does anyone know if the v600 (an unlocked one) would work with Verizon?

Thank you!

SE Z600 FOR SALE

I have a SE Z600 for sale that is about 2 months old. It's in perfect condition. I want to get rid of it an buy the Moto V600. For anyone looking to get an awesome phone at a good price, respond to this and let me know what you would pay for it.

I WILL NOT be able to respond to any questions till after Monday March 15th. I know you would love some pictures, but I donโ€™t have any to give you. It looks perfect. No problems whatsoever. I have used it with T-Mobile and its works VERY WELL. I never set up T-Zones, but I know for a fact it can be programmed. The reception is excellent. It is much better than my previous Moto V300. Most everyone who reads this forum knows what this phone is worth, so I am not setting a price. This is not ...

Summer Phones...

I'm just as frustrated as everyone else here that Moto and ATTWS are taking so long to release this phone, but I just can't believe the number of you that believe this phone will be obsolete a few months after its release. Do you really think that the new phones scheduled for release this summer will actually be released this summer? August maybe, but more likely even closer to Christmas. So even if it's late April by the time the V600 comes out, it's likely to be the "newest and the greatest" for a good 4-6 months if not longer. Suck it up people, it'll be out sooner or later, and when it comes out, you'll probably be glad you waited.

Is it true that all Cingular phones are unlocked?

I read about this in a forum and was wondering if it is true. If so, is it for all phones? Like the SE T600 or the Motorola V400. Does that mean I can use it with ATT or TMobile?

April 28th

I have a cousin who works in a At&T store in San Diego and he said he heard the phone comes out April 28th. But who knows if that is true? ๐Ÿ™„

V600 at AT&T Affiliates

I just spoke with my connection here in Cincinnati. Cincinnati Bell Wireless is the AT&T Affiliate here and he said that Cincinnati Bell if for sure getting the V600 in April and they will also be getting the V400 AND an LG phone..

People who work in the ACUTAL stores here in Cincinnati all know about the phone and know when its coming out. This is a lot better than the AT&T Reps who know jack..

AT least I think..

We'll see..Cincinnati Bell is always pretty reliable..I feel sorry for you AT&TWS customers...

t-mobile support

a friend of mine recently got what I believe is an unlocked european v600 from a dude from europe... he has service through t-mobile and he was able to get everything to work, including internet... he called up t-mobile service and asked for the v300 settings for internet and it worked fine on the v600...

BTW, the phone is pretty sweet... when he whipped it out I immediately knew what it was... the screen is just amazing... this phone will definitely sell well once it comes out...

Gave up...Needed new phone a.s.a.p

Well, I gave up and ordered the Samsung x426 phone from ATTW. My old Nokia 5195 died and I couldn't wait anymore. This is a nice little phone without a ton of extra features like Bluetooth, camera, etc. but it has nice reception and works fine for just making phone calls.

I got this one because I negotiated it for free to upgrade to GSM. Who knows if the v600 phone will ever come out and by the time it does, it will be outdated within a couple of months, if not immediately.

The next generation phones coming out this summer seem to have much better cameras (1MP) and better color screens, etc.

Oh well, I would have liked to have got this phone months ago, but the frustration and the new phones coming out finally made me abandon thi...

Got an unbranded, unlocked V600

My patience slipped with the news of more delays, so I went ahead and splurged on an unbranded, unlocked US version of the V600 for $600 on ebay. Yeah I know it was a risk, considering it was ebay and all, but the seller wanted payment only through paypal, so that eased my concerns.

For those interested, the FLEX version is GC9V600000NA0DE, and SW version is TRIPLETS_G_0B.09.27R. Startup screen is the hellomoto one. As far as I can tell, this is actually more recent than the firmwares currently making rounds on the internet.

The really interesting thing is that the guy claims to have gotten it through a wholesaler. When I got it, the protective display covers were still on it, the clock was 00:00:00 Jan 1, 2000, and lifetime clock ...

What is the deal with Motorola and/or AT&T?

I don't know what to believe anymore. I have emailed AT&T customer service and all I get is the same thing. "We currently don't have any information on when Motorola will be relasing the V600 series". "The V600 is not currently available for activation on our network". etc.

Motorola at least emails a tentative date, but of course everytime you email, you get the same response. Oh well.

What's comparable: z600, etc., etc.?

OK. This probably isn't coming out anytime soon and I'm with AT&T, also (was holding out for this phone specifically, but ready to move my number to GREENER PASTURES like T-Mobile, etc.). ๐Ÿ‘ฟ

First: Have any of the more authoritative voices like hot_md_guy and not the bogus rumor/hype schmucks heard any info to make it worth waiting even another week for this phone, 'cause you/I can now get the SE Z600 unlocked/unbranded for LESS than this one woulda been with all the same bells and whistles (minus the video, clunky antenna, situational lights and firmware bugs). I spoke with two AT&T CSRs today and they BOTH told me that the only info they have now when they do a search in their terminals for v600 is "by the end of 2004"!

Second: ...

Easier said than done

Representatives from both companies (AT&T/Motorola) said "Oh you can definately find it on the i-net" heh i have news for them. They couldn't hit the water if they fell off the boat in the middle of the atlantic because the only site that this phone is available for is ebay and when i say available i mean to the point of where you don't have to claim bankrupcy to get it. any of you guys know where you can get this phone for 400 dollars or 500 even but im not paying 700 to get it through a website because that is just assinine now considering that it will be out in just weeks anyway (i hope) ๐Ÿ˜ฒ

UNLOCKED VS. AT&T?

Hi, I'm reading all the memos of people buying this unlocked version from overseas or on Ebay. My question is, if they're still trying to work out all these quirks and bugs on the AT&T branded version (which supposedly is causing this delay), are these unlocked versions not as reliable? Is it worth paying $600-$700 for a software-bugged phone thats already released vs. buying the AT&T "software fixed" version for $300? Just curious as to what people think because I'm thinking about ordering from Hong Kong as well.

Can you trust overseas

It seems that when you look in ebay or other places they want western union payment so it looks like let the buyer beware EMPTOR"
