Motorola V710

When I put in an event and select all day for the duration the event will show on two days in the month view. It looks like the month view is taking the start time and adding 24 hours to it. It this a bug???

does the motorola v710 have a notepad or something where u can store information? not a scheduler...just somewhere i can write a few words on? my old lg 6000 had one

How do I enter an URL using Mobile Web? I'm new to this internet on the phone technology.

Expirement for everyone:

1. Grab the box your V710 came in.
2. Look at on the front of the box at the picture the guy took with his phone.
3. Look approx 1/8" from phone to the right.

i converted a few full family guy episodes at the 128 bit rate and got the size down to 22MB..i tested 64 bit too and got it to 12MB, but video is grainy but watchable

There is an instant messenger program in the GIN apps list for the v710. It has msn, aim and yahoo and works great.

I hate making this forum sound like a broken record, but any new word about when the new firmware update will be out, and if it will be an in-store or over-the-air upgrade?

Is there a way to prevent mobile web 2.0 from going back to the home screen everytime you use it. I remember in mobile web 1.0 if I went to a screen and quit mobile web, the next time I started up I could start from that screen. For example when looking at baseball scores, I could go right back to that screen and refresh the scores an hour later. You can't do this on mobile web 2.0, it always takes you back to the home screen. Help

for some reason i cannot enter zeros into either the password field or the screen name field. is anyone else experiencing this problem? (the button is not broken)

I'm sure someone's already tried this, but does someone have the OpCode for enabling OBEX on the V600? Since that phone has been out longer and supports OBEX out of box, the codes might be in the tech manuals (level 3). It might be a similar code in the v710, I heard that OpCodes for v600 and v710 are for the most part the same.

First of all the camera is lousy quality. I know it is first a phone and I love the phone, but advertising a 1.2 megapixel camera makes you think I'd be decent quality for web or small prints. NOT SO! Very large images, but VERY BLURY!

Second, Bluetoothe does not work with Mobile Phone Tools or PC syncronization as previously advertised.

Third, Mobile Phone Tools does not synchronize photo's or MP3's or voice files. This IS BS!!!

I'm sure Verizon is behind this so you have to pay in order to transfer photo's.

I use this for work and need photo's to be sent everyday. I don't think I should have to pay to send photo's to my PC.

I just purchased a USB Bluetooth adapter this evening assuming that the i would be able to use OPEX to send and receive files between my v710 and my PC. It wasn't until I tried that I find out VW has locked out this feature on the phone.

Should I take back the bluetooth adapter or do I assume that in a timely fashion people will find a way to crack the security on the phone unlocking OPEX? And i'm also assuming that even with purchasing a transflash card that I will only be able to watch / listen to mp3's, and not use the pictures or mp3's loaded as actual wallpapers or ringtones.

Part of the reason I got this phone was the ability to do this stuff, and now I feel really shafted. 😕

I have a Sony t616... ready to move on.. looking at the v710, does anybody have any specks on the Bluetooth it has?? BT1.1v?? BT1.2v???

When I played my MP3 file with my bluetooth headset all i can hear is a beeping sound does anyone know how to get it working correctly motorola claim that it work but they can't tell me how please help

How long will HS820 hold a full charge if it is kept off and not on standby?

Also, how do you know when to charge it? Do you only charge when it runs down?

I know that some phones these days let people record there own ringers, like the voice of the person calling. Is there anyway to do this with the v710?

I formatted the transflash and put mp3s on it, but they didn't show up. I tried reformatting and it doesn't seem to reformat anymore. I erased everything on the card on my computer and reformatted and the card remains blank. I can't even use the rename option on the phone. Card works fine in the computer but it is as if the phone can't write to it. Formatted correctly the first time and now nothing. Any ideas?
