HS820 recharging question

I'm curious if the HS820 headset can be charged any time or if it has a memory effect and should be fully discharged first? I'd appreciate any help. I tried calling Moto and nobody seemed to know.

PIX MESSAGING DOWN NATION WIDE

I just got off the phone with Verizon again. I was informed that Pix messaging is down/in spotty service throughout the nation. Most messages will not go through, and ones that do are usually ones from yesterday. Apperantly, Verizon is facing massive pix messaging volume, and is backed up in the amount it needs to send. SO, I asked to talk to the person supervisor, who, after yelling at him for 2 minutes, gave me credit for my 14 messages. 🙂 . Not bad.

Anyone else have problems with WIRED headsets?

When I plug my (Belkin) wired headset into the V710, sometimes it starts recording a voice memo. When I try to use a voice command, it almost always exits listening mode instantly, before I can say a command. I get the same problem with another headset as well. Both headsets worked with my old StarTac.

My only thought is that the headset jack is confused due to its also working as the TTY port.

Just wondering whethere this is a known issue or whether I need to get Verizon to swap my phone.

FREE WAP!

Please help so I can finish my site and help others

http://mysite.verizon.net/vze8kn4d/gtawydrvr/id12.html »

I have free WAP on my Motorola V710.
I know if you use a messenger such as MSN Messenger or AOL Messenger, every message gets charged as a text message.

But what about e-mail?
I can check my MSN e-mail, a send e-mail from my phone. Does that get charged as a text message as well?

Deleting Phone Record Issue with Sync

Whenever I delete a record, on either my phone or in Outlook, after I sync the 2 using PhoneTools, it puts the record back. Is there a way to solve this issue without deleting both?

V710 with Palm T3

🙂 My wait is over and I have my phone, so will the two mate? Yes! My Palm T3 dialer and network connection worked the first time with no fuss or muss. Within just a couple of minutes I was surfing the web, checking email and dialing straight off the contact list in Palm. Awesome. Thats enough, but the phone does so much more. After a long time with my Timeport 270C, this was a dream upgrade.

Radio Shack hooked me up with a great deal and actually had several in stock. After a 10% discount and 2yr plan, it was only $218 after the rebate.

question about e-mailing mp3s for ring tone use

so the first 2 mp3 clips i e-mailed to my phone worked out great...very cool feature i must say and nice to know that i never have to pay for stupid ring tones ever again...this along with the speakerphone and voice recognition features make me very glad to have gone with this phone instead of the vx7000 that i almost exchanged it for...anyway back to my question

so i sent a third song clip to my phone (renamed to .mid just like before) and now the phone is saying "unsupported content type audio/midi" i tried re-encoding the file numerous times and got the same error message over and over...one thing i noticed was the first 2 clips are 28 seconds and this one is 30...do the clips have to be under a certain length (30 seconds perhaps?) or ...

transflash card and mp3's

i just got a transflash card and put a bunch of mp3's on there from my computer. problem is, how do i set the mp3's on the transflash card as my ringers on the phone. can i only copy them from the card to the phone and have only a few at a time, or is there a way to reset the phone and have everything run off of the card?

Analog Extended Network Roam...

I was using the phone in an analog zone, hearing clearly, no problems at all... I finished my conversation and hung up with the person. When I received another call, my ringer did not work... I only saw that a call was coming in... I have my ringer set to LOUD and set to the default ringer style and this still occurred... any suggestions of recommendations??
Also, my video does not store on the phone at all... just on the transflash card... anyone else having this problem or know a fix before I return the phone for a new one?
Thanks,
Mike D

Sending mp3's to the phone

Don't know if this will help you guys and I haven't tried it b/c I don't have mpt, but I called moto and they said u can transfer mp3's via mpt 2.0 on a pc with bluetooth or by the usb bluetooth adapter found under the shop tab in this forum. They say you can download the mpt 3.0 upgrades for free. Like I said , I haven't tried it, so let me know. Thanks 🤣

importing address book

I'm attempting to import my address book which I've exported from my Kyocera 6035 using my Palm Desktop software. The file is an .ABA (Palm Address Book Archive) and I need a .CSV file in order to import my contact list into my phone using the Quicklink Mobile Phone software. Has anyone had any experience doing this type of conversion or knows of software that can do the conversion for me?

Thanks in advance.

Getting Fed up with....

I'm very annoyed with the VZW picture messaging service. The vzwpix.com website is down, only 2 out of 14 messages sent went through! PLUS Verizon has the nerve to CHARGE me for the one's that didn't go through. The rep said they are not responsible for messages that have not gone through with picture messaging, and thus are charging me, for a total of 16 messages, 4 of which I actually recieved. What a load of sh!t.
