Motorola V710

anyone sell the 7000 for the 710 and then want the 7000 back or are you in love with the 710. I will be getting the 710 tomorrow my wife has one now and I like it I like it ALOT but I want to use the 710 to compare it with the 7000

It seems once you've set an alarm in the alarm clock function it's in there forever. There doesn't seem to be any way to delete or edit them--only enable or disable.

Anybody got a solution to this one?

The picture quality on her phone is like crystal clear. I am so frustrated because my 710 can not get the kind of quality in pictures that she has. Isnt our phone supposed to be better at everything than that phone

Does anyone think that the firmware updates will make it that much better or not at all???

finally connected via wap to gelon.net gateway but am getting hhtp error 504 gateway timeout error?

is it possible to assign one pic to a contact in phonebook and have that pic cover all numbers associated with contact or do you have to reassign to each number?

I spoke to a VZW customer service rep today that said the current 319 price was expiring on the 25th. Anyone have a guess as to what direction it's going to go and by how far?

I'm getting really annoyed lately and I bet a lot of you are, too. I am constantly seeing people posting the most idiotic things, especially when it's already being discussed a few threads down. I understand that the purpose of these forums is to exchange information, but these questions have been answered SEVERAL times!!!
Whenever you see a post about:
-My bluetooth doesn't work (to sync w/ outlook, etc.)
-How do you change outer display
-The ear volume is too low
-Downloading from walmart
-How to transfer mp3's to the phone
-THE # OF STUPID PAGES! (I thought we were finally done with this crap)
-The quality of the camera (unless it's a solution)
-and I'm sure I'm missing several other recurring posts

I searched through countless threads trying to find the answer to this question, but couldn't. So I'm guessing I'm the only novice to this feature.

I'm trying to use the WAP browser. I never used it before on my old phone. Is there a way to manually insert an address? For instance, if my homepage is yahoo, and I want to check out espn. Can I simply go to a menu option and type in espn.com? I can't seem to find this capability.

I'm using the free WAP service through Yahoo!. Does that matter? Will other WAP services provide additional menu options? Thanks for your help.

Can anyone please tell me if I go to return this phone before the 15 days, will they refund everything 100%? Also, do I get my old phone back or do I have to buy a different one the same day?

I used to have the LG VX6000 and I could search through my contacts using just people's phone numbers. Is there anyway to find a contact with the V710? (I'm not talking about the speed dial numbers, but their actual phone numbers.)

Is it at all possible to change the background of the "flower-like" object that is behind the word "hellomoto" when I power-on my phone? 🙄

I've heard a lot about it on this site and am confused as to what it is. My background to this question is that I am in the process of doing research as to whether I will buy this phone or not. I also currently have internet service on t720 that i am paying ~$6 a month for, what's the difference between that and WAP (assuming that WAP is internet)?

Does anyone know why video capture stops at like 15 seconds? I have the setting set to max. Or can it ONLY go on filling your memory when you are using the TransFlash? Thanks. 🙂

Now that I have my 710 I've been following this the last 3 days. All I've found is various partial configuation information and people reponding is all they get is a timeout message.

In order that we all can get a clear configuration below you will find all the information fields that need to be completed by someone who has it working today. I figured if I typed them all it would make it easier for someone who has it working to fill them in. I have one request. If there is a field that needs to be completed by the individual and (i.e. password) don't leave it blank. Just say "needs user info". My feeling is that this might have been the problem. Anyway the following are the fields you see when you go MENU==>MOBILE WEB==>WEB SESSION...

Any one have a clue as to how clear the internal memory on the phone of the useless pics and screensavers......The mark all and select all thing does work....You cannot move the items to the card either and erase them...Any help?

Ok, maybe i'm blind or missing something(entirely possible), but is there a way to turn the speaker volume down when NOT on a call? I'm asking because the sound fx for the camera shutter sound like the volume is maxed.

I recently received my trans flash card and transfered pictures to it.

I want these pictures to be associated with the entries in my phone book so that when the phone rings the picture comes up.

When I try to do this, however, I am only allowed to select from the pictures that are stored on my phone, not on the trans flash card.

If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know.
