With all the complainers on the site... It is starting to sound like the Verizon Post...

Sound Quality - Excellent...

Volume - Acceptable... Even in loud area's. I am hard of hearing, and this one is acceptable...

Keypad... Mine works fine...

Speaker Phone - Best in Class

Bluetooth - Headsets, car kits - awsome

Bluetooth - Connectivity - typical verizon, they mucked that up.. Yep, not Motorola, VZW and their little changes...

Color Screen - Awsome

Camera - Considering it's a phone, I have printed 4 x 6's equil to my webcam.. OK, it is just a novelty, but if you hold the camera perfectly still, prints arn't that bad...

MP3 Player... Not bad... At lunch at the park, can kick back and list...

With all the neigh sayers i was wondering about this phone and whether or not i should buy it. Well i did and i can say without a doubt it is the finest phone verizon has to offer.

I work for an indirect dealer and i was i believe the first one in corvallis oregon to get one. Maybe someone sold one at the shack though.

Anyway phone is fully functional heres a brief overview

Keypad: Backlighting is SWEET i love the white it is much more classy and feels much more sophisticated then the cheap cheery blue. Also the feel of the pad is MUCH different than any other phone and i for one love the new feel.

Camera: Pictures are sub par but are definatly equivelent to the lg in some aspects. I wouldnt use this as the selling point when pus...

Hey guys whats up have been reading on this board for a while now. I know how people get pissed off with the same questions are asked. I actually did a search for this and 58 pages poped up so I need to ask.

I got the phone 2 days ago. I was wondering before you take a picture does the inside screen flicker. Also after the picture has been taken and you have the option of saving or deleted the pic does that preview picture look like ****. I noticed if I save the picture than view it later it looks much better. Just want to know if anyone else is having this issue. Like the phone so far but only have it for 2 days.

Since there is size limit on the MP3 I take it you can't listen to a full song? I have transflash card and put a 5Meg MP3 on it but it never shows up in the sounds list. Is there anyway to do this?

when i convert the mp3 to midi by just typing mid at the end of the file it doesnt play anything in my media player as well when i send it, it comes up as a txt file????

I haven't heard anyone else mentioning anything lately about the phone scratching itself, am I to assume its not noticable or it does not exist? what has been your expierence?

I just got my phone yesterday, and wow! Im so surprised that half of the message board users are so critical.

Before I got the phone, I heard great things about it from people in real life. and the opposite from half the people on this forum.

BOTTOM LINE:

the phone is awesome...and this is coming from a picky, slightly anal person 😉

the screen is nice, clear and large
the external display is almost as good as the t720 main screen(what the hell did you expect..Im totally satisfied)
the camera works totally fine...nothing wrong with it. it works just as good as any camera phone out there and has a nice clear display to look through on the main screen.
The keypad has no problems in my opinion. I think it looks great in...

i have already sent many midi ringtones to my phone using vzwpix.com, but when i tried to do it on my own computer when i just convert the file from songname.mp3 and just type .mid at the end of the file it doesnt play or work???

Ok, now my phone is freezing up every time I put the transflah card in. Do you think it's something on the card that would cause that or should I take the phone back ? Or do you think this problem will be solved when and if they do a flash to all V710's ?

Everytime I try to save a wallpaper from a wap site, I get an error that the item was not successfully save. Any thoughts?

Has anyone used this with the V710 successfully? I heard people have but I am getting some errors...

Where can you get games for the v710? I have been looking online but can't find any sites to get them? Are they only available from Verizon, through the phone itself?

I think I read that no games come w/ the v710 is that correct? Anyone know if Tetris is available?

What are some kick ass games?...I am coming from a v60 so I don't really know what's good.

Everywhere I look I can't find someone with the same problem. I put the TF card in my phone when it is off. I turn on the phone and then proceed to format the card in the phone. I then turn off the phone and take out the card. When I put it into the reader my computer opens up a folder and I see the folder "motorola". However, when I click on it it gives me a "h:\motorola is not accessible" and then something about a file or directory being corrupt. Is my TF card messed up?? Is the phone not formatting it correctly??? I dont knwo what's up...

Does anyone know if this phone has Video Messaging? If it does, how much per message?

Does anyone have a problem with the external caller ID picture being too small?

Also, if you think the earpiece volume is too low, take the phone back. I had the same problem with my first phone and returned it - much better 2nd time around.

In order for my computer to read my transflash adapter w/ the tflash card in it, do I need another sort of card reader...if so will someone please show me which one for a reasonable price and where 2 get 1. Thanks 🙂
