sorry guys, i just had to get that out. i can't believe that they screwed this phone up, it was supposed to be hottest thing on the market! all the time waiting, the money spent, for what??? headache and upset??? seriously, they should to be sued for false advertising. bluetooth is a standard and for them to advertise the v710 as such, it better do what all other bluetooth phones do too. i know its awful to say, but im way too crazy when it comes to brands. if it cellular, its got to be verizion and its got to be motorola, so in the end im not budging. but trust me, i am and have been complaining. i just hope that there are enough others out there to make the switch over to different carriers / brands so that these two companies will feel th...

V710 a flop according to VZW
Just finished talking to a VZW data services rep and mentioned the V710 to him. He said that the phone has been one of their biggest flops. It's features are nowhere near as good as they were supposed to be or even on par with cheaper phones. He said return rates where high and that the phone was not physically holding up well. The cases are coming apart and the keypads are literally buckling up and falling off of the phone. I went to my local VZW store to look at their display and YUP, the keypad was literally falling off the phone. When I asked the sales rep about it he said "stay away from that nightmare". He said he has had almost everyone one he sold the first day get returned either defective or just not worth the money.

I tried sending an mp3 to my phone through it two days ago and still haven't received it. Called up VZW and they blamed it on high traffic. So frustrating, I just wanna successfully play one mp3 on my friggin phone already!!!

Different Ringer for unknown or private calls
Does anyoneone know how to set the ringer to a different sound for calls that come from individuals who block their caller ID. Thus there number comes up private or unknown???

text message with old vext phones before v710
Ive found no way to do text message deferred when send a message or to cancel message when it has been sent but not yet picked up. I could do this with my LG6000 and my cmd9500 both does moto just not support this. has moto ever had a phone you could do this with?
