Motorola V710

how is the call quality, reception, camera and video on the uscc version. On verizon they had problem with camera being tilted, is it fixed on the uscc one or not.
If someone can answer would appreciate it.
Also how do the real music tones sound

Not that its a big deal or anything but how well does the keypad light up in the dark? What color is that pad?

Is it a guarantee that people are going to lose the ability to use thier TF card to transfer mp3 ringers and such on the official release of the firmware, or is this just a rumor? THanks

I called 611 and they sent me a new phone, but not in the box and without a battery (tech told me to just use the battery for the phone I have now). I figure it is a FRU. Which is better? FRU or new? Should I insist on a new one?

i was just in the U.S. cellular store today and i was playing around with the phone(i really like it) but why did the camera look like there were lines in it like i could see the grid...and it was a little blurry...

i also couldnt figure out how to change the outer lcd screen...

With all the problems that I am reading about with verizon, are the v710's for uscc going to have the same problems with bluetooth and all?

Can i use that file to be able to flash successfully with futuredial cable?

Well dialing from a bluetooth palm now definitely works. I flashed my V710 with the new firmware and then followed the directions in this thread to set up my tungsten t2. I can now go into my palm address book, tap on a number and it will automatically dial a voice call. It works great.

Greetings, this is my first post. After reading a lot of threads I got the V710 2 weeks ago. It had the blue dot on the package. I love it. No problems. Then I got the H820 but didn't like it and took it back. It didn't fit my ear very well. Then I got the Jabra BT250 and love it. It works great, fits well, and I love the handsfree. It is the first time I've been able to do that, coming from Nextel and an i730. I also got the Phone Tools 2 software. At first it didn't want to connect to the phone, then I read a forum thread about repeating the "update" feature and I tried it several times and it just kept updating and eventually downloaded and installed 3-4 updates, ending up with version 3! what software is needed to use the motorola v710 as a modem for an hp power tablet.

I would like to know what you think of the v710 for uscc...
-is the blue tooth disabled?
-does the screen scratch easily
-is the camera quality good?
-are the buttons flimsy?

Does anybody know why when I take pictures with my V710 the picture turns out blurry? I don't move the phone when I take a photo because I know about the timed capture, but everytime i take a picture you can see the pixels and they distort the picture. This happens during the day and night.

how do i delete the pictures and two mp3 sounds that come with hte phone? they take up too much space! thanx

I was just wondering if anyone hated their V710 phone. And if you didn't like it for whatever reason (too big, camera/flash, etc) and happen to want to trade it.

I have an A670 Samsung with a hard-install car kit that I wouldn't mind trading. I would like the bluetooth feature that the V710 has. I'm sure if you are on this forum you also know what the A670 Samsung is like and I will include the full version hands-free car kit. I have both items in very good condition with their papers, original boxes, all original equipment, holster, charger, etc.
