v710 Blue tooth Car Kit - Anyone?
Has anyone tried the Blue Tooth Car Kit for the v710? I am toying with the idea of getting for the wife for Christmas but would like some first hand knowledge first.

What is a web session?
Looks to me like its for accessing sites requiring log ins, but when I tried to set a session up and launch it, the phone just locked up. How is this used? TIA

What is becoming clear right now is that Verizon is releasing 8700_01.40.OR to some stores and the rest of them don't have a clue about what is going on.
If you don't want to risk frying the phone, you can probably find a store willing to do it if you give them the SHX file. You have seen various posts from techs right here, asking for the file for their customers.

V710 MP3 Player - what am I missing??
I have a 1287 meg TF card loaded into the phone. I moved a 3.5 meg mp3 file to the \motorola\audio\ directory. It shows up in the SOUNDS menu on the phone, but when I go to play it, it chirps then stops.
Is there other software required for the phone to run MP3's?
Some switch that needs to be thrown?
Please don't tell me it is a software bug!!

Can you get this ringtone to work?
I got this ring at http://users.rcn.com/phonestore/telemovie.htm
It is the same tone as "Our man Flint" Hot line. If you click on the Red phone it will download the tone as a wave file.
I downloaded it to Itunes and changed it to a midi. I mailed the tone to my Motorola v710. It will play just fine in sounds in my media gallery, but when I apply it as a ringtone it will not play when calling my phone. Went back to the phone store and they're stumped as to why it will not ring. This is so frustrating. If anyone can get this to work Please let me know.

Using Mot 810 Headset?
OK, I am experiencing an annoying issue with my BT headset and my V710 that I need some help with. When I push the button on the headset to place a call, sometimes it takes me to the voice recognition menu (which I want) other times it displays the previous call and if I press the button again it connects the call; I can not seem to get to the voice menu. Why does this happen, and how do I get it to go to the voice menu? This has happened with several different headsets. Thanks for any help.

Pictures from Comp to Phone
I have a transflash card and use it for mp3s etc.. however, any picture i try to put on the phone says it is too large to open. Is there any way to cut down the size of a picture so it can open. Also, does anyone know what the limit is for the size of picture it can handle? Any help greatly appreciated.

I just received MPT 3.0 from Motorola and when I installed it after registration it upgraded to 3.19. My question is how do I transfer pictures with this program? I am sure this must have been answered before however my search shows nothing. Thanks

I bought a bootleg one on ebay to try the flash. The moto cable looks the same except for the M logo.. how can it charge ur phone if it covers all of the plug in port??

Flash failed - power down problems. Phone seems dead.
I tried flashing my phone but there were errors related to trying to power down the phone. It said the flash failed.
Now the phone won't power up at all so I can't try to flash it again.
Is there some way to power it up again? I've left the battery out for several minutes, then reinstalled it. I've also tried powering up with the AC adapter. Nothing works.
Any ideas anyone?

Does anybody in the Harrisburg, PA area have the cable and SuperDave update ? I would be willing to pay for this to be done to my V710. I was going over the directions and frankly I don't have the time (it being Christmas) to attempt this myself.
