OK this dumb. I delete the phone pics with Bitpim But they still there with X's THAT IS ANNOYING
anyway to eliminate that too?

Couple questions re: unlocking and Flashing
I live in Canada and want to get this phone for use with my local cdma carrier who does not sell ANY decent phones!
Q1: Will flashing with SD unlock the phone?
Q2: After flashing and doing the final step: *228 and the dial button (green button), will this dial verizon, or the default carrier (ie my local one if the phone was already being used on their system) Can i just skip this step and take it to them to finish the setup?

After SD Flash, i cant connect via bluetooth to MPT..also camera isnt any better. and what else new?
This flash update isnt that great of improvement. only real differences i see are are the startin up images. some different wallpapers. BUT YOU STILL CANT DELETE THE WALLPAPERS ON THE PHONE WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF. that is retarded.. also you can zoom on big pics now OOH big deal... biggest thing is that it rings with bt headset on. But still cant connect to MPT.. can someone post here everything this update does and how? and how the f*** do we delete those default stupid wallpapers on teh phone.

Moto V710 vs LG 7000
which one of thse phones have a better camera, better reception, call quality and battery life. Bluetooth isnt important to me.
But having a good camera, reception, call quality and battery are.
Ive heard from alot of people the 710 sucks, is this true or just people opinions.
Can some people help me out.
Cause my gf is gettin one of these 2 for me for chmas and want to make sure i make the right choice

Someone please tell me whats the point of the screen savers??
If i set them as screensavers.. when do i see them actually animate like that? If i leave the phone alone i dont see it. WTF??

Motorola V710 Owner, How Is The Mp3 Player????
A big attraction I see to buying this phone is the mp3 player...Honestly how is this feature??? If you can answert back please let me know how clear the songs are and how many songs you can put on each transcard...Lastly if you can rate the mp3 feature from 1-10(being best) what would it be??? Signal out of wack.
This morning I have been having trouble with the signal on my V710. If you watch it for a minute or two ... it goes digital signal keeps jumping from no bars to 5 bars, periodically it goes Analog (5 bars) and then stays there. I am unable to txt message or download some waiting PIX messages. I am in Ocean County area in NJ.
My officemate has a V710 and his is fine. 😡
I was previously getting 4-5 bars in my office with no problems. 🙄
I am currently on my 3rd V710, this one was a brand new replacement I got from the crooked camera issue.
Has anyone seen the signal jumping around like this? 😕

How to send pics from my PC to the phone?
I'm trying to send a pic from my PC to the phone to use as pic caller id or as screen saver but i cant get it done. what should i do? should i send it like an attachment? i tried to send it from my regular email to [email protected] and to [email protected] but no luck. can somebody help? Thanks!

Mp3 Ringtones?Verizon users only plz.
OK I know this will be the same question as asked before..but, I asked a verizon sales person how to dl mp3's they didn't know..then I emailed Moto..they said the function was disabled by carrier. The whole point is this...can you play Mp3's as ringtones, and do they lag or play default ringtones first? Any inside would help finalize my choice.

No multimedia in MPT
This is probably pilot error - but anyways - got MOTO V710, Verizon, MPT w/usb. I see a multi-media icon on MPT and in the help it talks about a multimedia studio, etc. But I can't find that. It sounds like some of you have that working - is this another Verizon limitation or do I have MPT installed or configured wrong?

Memory Card woes
Hi All,
I started playing with my memory card after a while. I moved some pictures off the phone onto the card, now i can't move them back, it says unable to move.
When I switch storage device to the card and try to view the pictures on the card, i select pictures, it flashes the list for a bit and goes back to the previous menu. On the 3rd try, it shows me the list of pics but none are available on the thumbnails. I have to do a view on each pic to see what it is. I cannot move the picture back to the phone.. how bad is that?
Did VZW completely disable file transfer through the card?
