Best Buy "TESTer"
I went into my local best buy and checked the screen quality of the test vs. my first release, the photo was amazing compared to mine, and the programming seemed different, but who knows if that could be a fluke, If anyone knows what we should all do to make this worth the $200+ we spent on these phones for cameras, I would love feedback.

in detail how would i go about transfering mp3 to my 710 without any tf's (which i have no idea about) any help would be greatly appreciated.

By the way no pun intended with the Phony...Verizon has no idea when the new firmware will be coming out or when anything will be coming out..i have been calling various locations where verizon is and they all gave the same resonse " i dont know"...i went to a store in NYC...Long Island..and NJ..they all gave same responses..plus for three weeks now i have called *611 and got the same responses that they really dont know...its totally relying on Motorola not verizon, verizon has no idea, so pllllease stop with all the lies.

Problem transferring pictures/music to TF
Hey all,
my friend cant get this working and we tried the same thing I did for mine and mine works fine. we formatted his tf card, and when he trys to put a wallpaper (saved to his comp) to his card, it gives him an invalid path name specified error or something. Anyone have any ideas on what it could be?
I will get an exact error message if that will help.

bluetooth pin change
Does anybody know how to change the pin code for bluetooth?
I think the unlock/security codes are separate from the bluetooth pin code.

Swithching a Verizon phone to Alltel
I am thinking of getting a V710 of Ebay. Almost all of them are setup for Verizon. I use Alltel. I know Alltel uses V710s. Will Alltel have any problems swithing a Verizon phone to it's own. I know the phone will have Verizon markings on it but new faceplates should take care of that. Would the phone have Verizon startup screens or would Alltel convert those also?

Re-setting Unlock Code???
I bought my phone off of ebay and the unlock code was already set and I don't know it. I was just wondering if anyone knows how to reset it with out having to completely reset my phone.

I read a couple of postings suggesting that the Phone Tools utility could be used to enable full Bluetooth functionality. Can anyone confirm that they have been successful in doing this?

Is Camera Fixed on USCC and Other problems it had on Verizon
IS the camera problem and all the other problems this phone had with verizon. Are they corrected on uscc and actually work. I would think so cause uscc really tests there phones before putting it out.
Can someone let me know if camera issue is takin care of for uscc.

Is there any way to eliminate all noise from the camera? It even goes off when the phone is set to silent, and that's plain dumb.

transflash card and phonebook
I have yet to add all my contact and phone number information to my V710 because I've been hoping that eventually there would be a way to sync from my laptop via bluetooth. I can't really wait anymore.
Is it possible to transfer contact/phone number information to the phone via the transflash card? Ideally I would like to export straight from Outlook to a file that could be recognized by the phone.

I recommend getting the extended battery
ive never had problems with the normal battery, but let me tell you...this extended battery is the sh!t.
ive had my phone going since wednesday morning, 2.5+ days ago, talked on it minimal (probably like 15-20 minutes a day) and the thing is still at 3 full bars.
when i go to phone info, battery meter, it shows 6 of 6...this thing is a monster.
Im going to see how long it goes for...at this rate 5 days sounds ez. Ill let you guys know.
btw, i bought this off ebay for like 14 bucks...so worth it
