Alright... those that have tried several different kinds... which is the best?

I have read the reviews on here and they seem mixed. Some 810 some 820. I thought the Jabra 250 was reviewed better than both, but I haven't personally tried it. Can anyone provide input?

9900. its out and the display should be pretty nice. but then again no BT or TF card.

I had trouble all morning trying to get my Ipaq to dial up to the V710 bluetooth modem.
I just figured it out!
press the menu key on your phone and quickly press 073887* the password is 000000
go to data rates and change it to 14.4 / 14.4
exit out and the pda should now connect.

Is there anyway to get rid those terrible pics that came with the phone?

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone here knows by any chance or has heard if or when the sony music box or modtones DJ applications will be available on the motorola v710 phone I use to have them on my lg 6000 phone and this phone does not have those sites yet and the phone is capable of real music ring tones. so if there is any one out there and verizon workers who have heard or know when these 2 applications will be available on this phone or if it even will be it would greatly be appreciated ive been waiting for like 2 months now for one of them. thanks and have a great day!!!

I've been reading all the hype for this phone, so I figured, Hey, lets get the phone. So I got it tonight. I am not in tech support so I do not know the answers to the questions I'm asking, even if they're easy for some of you here. I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions, and please no one say search the forum, 517 pages.. come on.. I know someone can be nice and help...

1. Does the v600 USB wireless adapter actually work with the v710 to connect my laptop (with the right software) ?? If it does, can someone send the link to get the software?

I have been following this forum for some time and have not seen anyone else mention this problem. I now have been through 3 V710 telephones and they all have the SAME PROBLEM.
This will work in the Verizon store but after about 5-10 alerts this function ceases to function. Moto tells me to take the phone to Verizon and I do. They change the phone and it does the same thing AGAIN. Been through 3 phones so far. Is anyone else having this problem or know know to fix this problem? Thanks.

I recently got a T-flash card and now i want to put mp3s on my v710... So, after formatting the memory card w/ the phone, and then moving the mp3's in question to my phone, i decided to see what they sounded like. The first was 6:31 (min:sec) & 6MB (128kbit, 44.1KHz, stereo) and the second was 170:17 (min:sec) & 79.8MB (64kbit, 44.1KHz, mono). The first file played all the way through with no problem while the second longer file never started to play... All that happened was the controls graphic started changing. That is, the play button toggled between the 'play' and 'pause' symbols, while the 'ffwd' & 'rwd' symbols toggled to 'prev' & 'last' track. Has anyone run into this problem? I read a review on Mobileburn.com (http://www.mobileburn.com/review.jsp?Id=881& source=HOMETOP) that states that there is large problem with the inbound call quality of this phone. The guy claims he made multiple calls with the phone and that the person on the other end said that they had troubles hearing him. Does anyone else have this problem? I am thinking about getting this phone and audio quality is high on my list. Thank you ahead of time....

of the Motorola 840??? Its identical to the v710 but lacks bluetooth. think it will have a better camera, better keybad construction, etc...???

Not sure if anyone noticed this, or even if it was already brought up, but the in calling network (verizon to verizon calls) coverage has changed. Its the whole American's Choice Map now.

Been on vzw for 9 days now....i think the service is pretty good; however, I am extremely upset about the bluetooth situation. Was misled at the store about the bluetooth capabilities (OBEX, mainly).

Here's my situation - will be moving to DC in a few weeks and was told vzw has the best coverage (is this true?), however, I have come to rely on my bluetooth capabilities from a previous carrier that vzw has locked.....I like the GSM phones, but since I don't know the DC area well (from a phone coverage perspective), I'm not sure what to do....

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Not sure if you guys have mentioned this yet, the new firmware coming out for the 710 will remove the copy,move, option in menu when you want to move files from the card to your phone or the other way around....

I was wondering how to make the video length longer than 15 seconds on the phone. I went into video options and under length I tried maximum, but it still only records 15 seconds. I also have the T-flash card, so memory shouldnt be a problem.
