Motorola V710

I've read just about every post before typing this for fear that this was already answered, but alas it wasn't (to my knowledge). I take pix on a regular basis with my V710 and I've been storing them on the Transflash 128 with no problem. I recently bought a 6-in-1 Card Reader by Digital Concepts. Loaded the drivers from the CD since my Windows 98 did not come pre-equipped with the required Drivers. I hooked up the reader via USB. Found the Motorola file in the SD drive created by the Reader. Went to Shared Files, then Pictures, and then...all the pictures have a small 'x' on them! When I double click on them they do not open and sometimes the screen freezes as if there is a corrupt file. Does anyone know if US Cellular will cripple the Bluetooth features too?

Is anyone getting complaints about your voice quality/reception? All my friends I talk with complain that it sounds as if I'm in a wind storm while I'm talking?

Just something interesting about headset. This morning I stopped at a convienience store and was wearing my headset. I left it on and went inside and forgot that I left my phone in the truck, charging. I got a call and answered it and didn't realize my phone was inthe trucktill I hung up and got back. I was at least 40-50 feet from my phone! Pretty awesome for the headset, sounded perfectly normal.

I downloaded MPT and whenever I doubel-click on the setup.exe file I get an error message that gives suggestions for how to fix, including emptying the TEMP folder, and making sure OS software is up-to-date with all patches. I'm using a Dell laptop with XP Pro. Any ideas of what might be wrong?

Well, I called Fellowes like the person on the forum suggested and just basically said...I was told the last time I called that it was coming out on Sept 27th and it isn't out yet, and I've looked everywhere in my area and can't find it. They asked where I lived and said that it has been sold in Illinois and Pa but not VA... so I said can I buy one direct.. they said no.. and I said well this guy on the forum said that you would sell it direct if it wasn't anywhere in the area... and she said we can do that if you buy in a certain quantity which was 3. I have an ipaq 2215 and am trying to use the internet via my v710.. Can someone help me with the connection process. Walk me throug it step by step so that i can access the internet and search via my ipaq....also does the phone have to be open when surfing the net with my ipaq???? any help will be greatly appreciated...

What is the maximum size picture I can view on my phone? I can't view the pictures I load on my transflash because I think they are too large. How can I convert a picture that I currently have into a size small enough to be viewable? Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry for yet another transflash post, but searching didn't yield anything that resembled my problem...

When i add pics (that were originally taken on my phone) to the transflash card from my computer, and then go to view them on the phone, some of them will show up corrupt (with a red x where the preview usually would be). While doing this, the "accessing device" message will come up a few times, I believe creating more duplicate 0kb corrupt files of the original files with red x's. If I click on the original, it still shows up in full view though.

I'm using OS X if that has anything to do with it. I found somewhere that using a program called "iClean" helps, which it does. I couldnt even open the videos, pics, or sounds menu. No...

I got my V710 today. I am a previous user of the Moto i90c. I am desperately searching for a belt holster for the V710 that allows the phone to be turned around with the display facing in toward your hip. I find the standard holster to be extremely uncomfortable.

I use the phone as my watch and with my i90c, I used to be able to just tilt the phone off the holster to see the time. The V710 holster is difficult to unclip and I have to turn the phone around to see the time. HELP!

What is the point of putting Voice for PhoneBook sound settings.. what does that do?

In video and pictures setup, There is a option called Status Icons,you can turn them off and on.
Anybody know what they do?

Not sure if everyone knows and/or cares, but I'll inform.... After I found out from a verizon rep. that while using my phone as a modem I would only be charged minutes from my account during peak hours and during non-peak hours, I could use it unlimited. So, I purchased the kit and received the kit yesterday and tried it out. Surprisingly, I was able to connect and download at speeds up to 70kbps. Pretty impressive it your out alot traveling. Especially on weekends.
