i tried 0000,1111,9999,1234,5678... the last 4 digits of my mobile number, the last 4 digits of my ss#

nothing worked.... called vzw customer svce and they couldnt help? any suggestions?

honestly, this cant be? how is it scratched??? do the buttons scratch it when it is closed???

it is also scratched on the top part of the flip, right about the camera lens (i guess from opening and closing it)

why is this?..can i remove them?

I have heard at many places that verizon is going to stop the transflash on the new firmware update i hope its not true cause i heard its so you buy off gin but at least just make it to wear you can,t set them as ringtones and just listing to them as mp3s like a mini ipod.Is this true?'

you guys here crack me up -- verizon is going to encrypt the trans flash so it won't work lol they have purposely turned off the obex to thwart all your little music bootlegging attempts

me i'll wait for the firmware update and then all might be fixed ( like the t720 right) some of the problem i belive is that they are just trying to do too much too fast with this phone there are always problems with first run items and people that can't deal with that should go get a land line -- they have most of the bugs worked out on them

Don't know if I am posting something others already know - I have not seen any posts about this "discovery".

I use a wired headset - not BT. With the headset plugged in, you can voice dial with the flip closed IF you have the phone set to answer on flip open. It does not seem to work if the open flip to answer is turned off. We may still have to open the flip to end the call, or we could just let it disconnect when the other person hangs up. I have not tried hitting any external buttons in an attempt to disconnect, answer, or answer call waiting. I suspect Answer settings > multi key😲n may let us answer with the flip closed but I have not tried that yet.

i very much like the headphones u showed me on the moto website for my v710 mp3s...

but i have 1 question...how is the volume on it ? i am thinking of replacing my cd player with my v710 only thing is that i want battery life and volume...

so on those headphones, is the volume loud? is there a nozzle to toggle the volume? and if there isnt how loud is it out of 10?

and how would u rate this phone replacing the cd player out of 10? (factor in battery life and stuff like that)

i have a few mp3s on my transflahs card that are 192 kbps ...anyway i am going to buy those headphones so i can listen to them privately...but what i need to do is how many hours can my phone last playing these mp3s? will it last atleast 2 hours on a full charge???

and on a side note, i was just wondering if its safe to leave my tranflash card inside my v710..??

this guy set up an MMS server which he says can be used as an FREE alternative to vzw's send pix. He claims it doesn't violate any terms of your contract. has anyone used this service? can anyone provide any incite on the legality of this?

ok so i got some ringtones from the fotobin.com website. however, all the ringtones went to my vzwpix.com place. do i have to have a TF card in order to get the ringtones on my phone?? i don't have one, so what do i do??

sup guys i would like to now wat email u guys are using to send ringtones to ur phone cuz the one ive used that actually works is the vzwpix and fotobin cuz if i send it from my yahoo mail or hotmail it never gets to my phone. and i wannna be able to send long ringtones. in the vzwpix it doesnt let u put a file thats very big so thats a problem. and wat do u email it to

Is there any way to get free ringtones onto a v710 without using the usb data cable.
If there is no way to do that then what program would you use to get the ringotnes with a data cable.
I'm talking about real music ringtones.

Anyone know if there is a way to set wallpapers to automatically rotate - possibly each time you open the phone or each time you turn the phone on?

I just got my new phone and i can not apply my mp3 ring tones to anyone. I have renamed these files tryed everything but i cannot apply as a ringer id

Anyone have any thoughts???

Because of the extent of the changes, VZW is going to put this update through the full test process - that, combined with the fact that other phones (V26X, A840, V65p) have testing priority at the moment, means you can look for the update no earlier than November. VZW is going to push to get the new phones out on the shelves for the holiday buying season before they revisit existing phones."

wat do i do in order to put mp3s on my phone??? can some1 give me step by step directions on what i do???

Anyone find a way to have the phone say the name of a contact, so you know what the phone is looking for when you try to voice dial? For instance, I have a contact named Tiege, but there is no way in hell that the phone recognizes his name, no matter how I say it.

I got a converted video onto my transflash and I can view it from my phone. It looks pretty decent and the conversion did a good job. But, is there a way to get rid of the annoying bar at the bottom of the video screen. It takes up about 1/3 of the screen and is totally not necessary. I looked through all the menus and functions and cannot find anything that looks like a hide button (like the one in the sounds directory). It would be great to be able to view videos in full screen mode. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
