Motorola V710

How do you take it off, i was going to try to pop it out and back in, but there is some wierd trick to it, to try to reset the phone, can anybody explain?

Does anyone have an idea of how to make the phone into a temporary drive, so that when you plug in the usb adaptor, you can easily trasnfer files?

my phone has been great, but all of a sudden yesterday I get an error everytime I try to 'capture' a picture. anyone else have this problem?

Also, I recieved and inserted my transflash card but I dont even know how to save to it or view it. any help would be appreciated.

oh and 1 more thing, everyone said when you get the transflash card it will come with the adapter and you can load pictures onto your computer with it...but how? there is no wire that plugs from one to the other?? Im just confused with this transflash card. again, help would be appreciated

roughly how many pictures can the V710 hold???

i heard that when you have a missed call or new voice mail that it will NOT show on the outside screen....do you have to open the phone to find out if you missed a call or have a new voice mail? Also, i heard the speaker phone was good...about how far away can you be from the phone to be able to have a clear conversation? thanks

Doeas the v710 have a driving mode like the vx4500?? or is it just the voice dialing.??

I was elated to get my free HF800 yesterday from moto's promotion. The only problem is that they didn't send the case with it. I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, but the case is really important to be able to clip this to the car visor as that is about the only use I have for this thing. I called moto, verizon CS, and even the local verizon stores. No one will sell me the case by itself. Does anyone have any suggestions? Did the other people that got this accessory from the promotion have the same problem?

Vstuff is now charging to download it, anyone have a copy they could send me?

The display for my camara is not working, the Photo Finder it just comes up as a black screen, then the front display does not show up with what the lens is seeing. I can still take pictures and they come out okay, but it's hard without the photo finder. Then when i hit the menu button, nothing appears. Anybody have any idea what i am doing wrong?

Not to be insensitive or anything but can't this Gmail stuff be taken to another forum? Are there any moderators here?

What exactly is blue tooth ? I keep hearing that it's not up to its full potential...which is what ? The only thing that I'm aware of is that blue tooth is wireless, but what are the other capabilties of this system ? Oh and honestly is the v710 worth the money ?

I have a V710, and an hs810, the headset murmors a faint blurp when it rings. It wont play any of the midi ringtones and is quite dull with the regular ones. Does anyone know how to make it so the phone rings wehn its on, and how to make the hs810 work with mp3 ringtones? I tried the instructions for the hs820 and it didnt help

does anyone know the verizon sms service center number. i'm trying to use easy sms on my pocketpc to connect to my v710 via bluetooth. all works except the sms doesn't go out without this number.

tried verizon customer service...what a joke.

When I dial * on my phone, then press * again and hold it, it goes through a list of p w n. Is this a bug or some sick programming "easter egg"? 🙂

Thoughts?

I am getting ready to head out on a long trip. I'd like to put a few games in my V710 to pass the time. I did a Google search for games and V710 and found lots of sites saying they are comming but none that had them.

Where can I go to get games for the V710? I am especially interested in hearts if it is available.

Is it possible to store the games in the TF card? If so do they go in the Motorola folder or just in the root directory on the card?

How do you access (play) them on the phone?
