Motorola V710

I have the Moto 820 and Bluetrek G2 bluetooth headsets and on two separate occasions now I've watched a movie trailer and a Family Guy episode on my phone - with sound playing through the headset. Each time the entire trailer and FG episode played the audio through bluetooth headsets from start to finish (trailer runs 2:30 and FG episode runs 22:13). However, and here's the fun part, if I try to watch yet a third video the sound goes out and requires me to turn off headset and listen through the 710 speaker. So, it's almost as if the audio link to the bluetooth headsets is somehow time limited, which doesn't really make sense. More importantly, it proves that Moto and or Verizon could enable this feature if they wanted to.

has anyone pared the v710 with a zodiac to access the internet? I cant figure it out

Is there any headset that can offer this? I own the motorola 810 i believe it is and it sucks. that beep is horrible. the range and functionability is good but i want sound. Any ideas?

Bought one, works great.

I have had problems with making a play list and playing it over and over again.
If I make a list of 10 mp3s and play it a number of times I get errors after a few songs. it will start again after error it just worried I'm going to get this when I really can use it with the TF card. I am not using a TF card just the mp3 I sent to myself to test out the phones features.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Is Wap 2.0 abailable on the V710? If not...anyone know when it will be available...? I checked on the Vzw site and it said it was available for the vx7000 and the vx4500...help please thanks

so i was looking through all of the past subjects, and thinking how much i want an ipod. there must be at least 5 or 6 people in here that are willing to do the free ipod thing, right? if we can get enough people together, we could all get free ipods. we can do it by signing up for each others so they get a credit, in return for that person signing up for yours, so you get a credit. anyone want to try to do this with me?

I bought my phone at Radio Shack originally (as they had it quite a long time before Verizon). I have the same firmware that everyone else has posted they have. Last night I stopped by a Verizon store in the mall the guy there told me that if I bought the phone at Radio Shack they wouldn't touch it - I should have bought it from Verizon. I told him Verizon was my carrier and if they wanted everyone to buy their new phone from Verizon they shouldn't have let Radio Shack carry it in advance of Verizon. Bottom line is he told me Verizon wouldn't update my phone, that it was a Radio Shack problem. Of course, when I called Radio Shack they told me to take the phone to any Verizon dealer to check for updates. Anyone have any experience in th...

Has anyone found a way to delete all those pictures that came with the v710?

Yo people let me tell you that the extended warranty that verizon provides is the greatest.they have two ,theres one for $3.99 a month wich is not as great because they give you refurbished phones.the one to get is the one for $4.99 because this warranty covers all accesories for your phone including the bluetooth headset!Plus they send you a NEW phone if you should lose it or whatever you can do to your phone.they charge you $50 to replace the phone wich is a great deal considering that the v710 costs $519.99 retail.for the headset they dont charge you a deductible you just have to send the old one back,same with any other accessories.

I purchased the Motorola V710 6 weeks ago & was very happy with the phone; however, this morning the screen died on me already. Radio Shack wants to send out the phone for 7 - 10 days, but one of the salesman say it could be 2 months!! No loner phoner, no phone swap...any similar experiences??? Any suggestions on what to do? I am pretty sure I read about this problem before, but I searched for it and couldn't find the answer. I'm on a phone connection so it's really slow.

Today when I tried to take a pic, it came out weird with all these weird colors. It was kind of blotchy. It was almost like it was some kind of special effect. You know when you blow a bubble with soap bubbles and you get all these cool colors like red, blue that's what it looks like. It is almost like it's overexposed or something.

I called VZW, they think it may be broken. Has anyone had this problem and was it fixeable or did they replace the phone. Can they transfer the phone book?Will they charge you for it??????? Thanks, Jn

I had paired my V710 to my bluetooth enabled laptop and have used it as a low speed modem while travelling. Everything worked as expected.

Tonight I tried to connect to MPT via Bluetooth rather than the serial cable as in the past. No joy.

Now my DUN connection won't pair. Everything proceeds OK until I enter the PIN, first on my laptop then on the V710. The V710 never accepts it as valid and refuses to pair. It has worked flawlessly as recently as yesterday and the attempt to connect to MPT seems to be the destabilizing issue.

I called Verizon Tech support and talked to a level 2 tech. He understood the problem but didn't have a clue how to fix it. He called Motorola for help but they are closed until Monday.

IM LOOKIN AT GETTIN THIS PHONE, BUT IT SEEMS ALL I READ IS NEGATIVE STUFF ABOUT IT, LIKE HARD TO DOWN LOAD MP3 RINGTONES, CAMER DOESNT WORK ETC. IS THIS PHONE THAT MUCH TROUBLE AND IS IT WORK THE MONEY WHEN I SIGN WITH VERIZON FOR 2 YEARS OR IS THERE A BETTER PHONE OUT THERE.

I'm gonna be ready to get MP3s onto the phone for ringtones cause I got the T-flash card and reader. Now all I need is some help with a program that can cut my MP3s into shorter length. I cant use Ringtone Ripper or iTunes cause I have Windows ME and it doesnt run on it. Can someone Please help me and let me know what I can use that works just like iTunes? All help would be appreciated, I really want to get to use this excellent feature of the T-flash card but cant seem to find a program that will make my MP3s into ringtones.
