Motorola V710

Just saw a new commercial for the v710 from motorola on the tech tv channel. Look out for it!!!

sorry i really dont want to search through 505 pages to find the answer. anyways:


got the phone from verizon in august.
took a bunch of pictures.


i want to transfer them to my computer.
i understand verizon shut off all the bluetooth besides the headset, so that options out, what should i do?

1. transfer them to a tf card?> is that possible through the phone

or

2. buy some sort of USB cable? WHICH ONE???

hello everyone thanks to everyone for all the info. I have visited this forum anxiously since I heard about this phone. The wait I must say was agonizingly fun and aside from a few bugs and a short extended battery life(what do you expect with all that tech running at one time)I love this phone. I really want the obex to come in the new but other than that its great!!!

The only cool one i know of is fotobin.com, and thats just ringtones

I just got a card reader and Im trying to get it connected to the computer, but there is nothing showing up, like removable disk under my computer. Can anyone Help? I installed the drivers and everything.

What's so good about GMAIL?? I'm not impressed....you tell me.

I have a V710, and an hs810, the headset murmors a faint blurp when it rings. It wont play any of the midi ringtones and is quite dull with the regular ones. Does anyone know how to make it so the phone rings wehn its on, and how to make the hs810 work with mp3 ringtones? I tried the instructions for the hs820 and it didnt help

I recently got my transflash card and put one of my downloaded ringers on it. How do i access the information on the card??

I am a Verizon Wireless Employee. I have the Motorola V710...I have used various departments to help me get this issue resolved. I have a 64mb flash card, with the adapter and usb card reader. I cannot get my mp3's to play as ringtones. I called motorola and everybody sounds like they are foreign so I basically have not got anything done. My technical support is clueless....Motorola said that there is a way to edit the actual mp3 files so that they will be of a certain bit rate and length......Something like 16-30 seconds etc...But I cannot find a way to do this..........CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME, I NEED IT DESPERATELY..............

can you save your game and ringtone downloads from get it now to the trans flash card....so if i had to send it back for breaking I could keepmy downloads without having to pay for them again....like I did with my T720 when it when bad.....And one thing i would like to say is the greese factor where you have to keep whipping off the V710 well it is that we are all greesey people and we are putting our greassey skin on glass....it happens all the time to all phones 😳 ....come on lets stop nit picking..... 😳

Anyone know if this phone supports stereo sound? If I put a pair of stereo headphones in the jack, will I hear mp3s in stereo or mono?


Apologies if this is covered somewhere. I searched the forum and the 710 specs, but I didn't see it.

Well basically i'm to fend up with verizon, all the other phone company are much more flexible and provide way better service then verizon, verizon locks up the key things in a phone and a plan and make us pay for all this stuff while other companys have much more flexible plans, I can't even download anything from the mobile web on my phoen because verizon prevents u from doin that from anything other then get it now. My V710 is another problem, i bought mine from radioshack and the bluetooth didn't work so i sent it back and got a new one and now the lcd screen in the internal and external monitors have burned out, yea sure i'm sending in my phone to get ANOTHer......... replacement but basically when another phone with a transflash card ...

when you take a pic you can "change details" at the bottom of the menu when you click the menu button on that image. after changing the details it saves, but you cannot view this information anywhere (that i've found) off of the phone. I have to use this phone for work and i have 72 pictures with information in each detail....i'd really rather not scroll through each image and hand type them all. thanks for any help that you guys could be in finding an answer to this.

when someone returns a phone to a Verizon store, do they put it back in stock for resale or is it no longer considered a new phone and sold as refurbished?

Does anyone know of any firmware updates for the phone yet??...and if dial *228 and press program does that do anything??
