Motorola V710

Hey just a question does the MOTO Bt Adapter work with the V710 and if you use it with any other phone like the T720 does it work in full blue tooth mode and transfer files and things of that nature???? 😉 Just wondering if that will work....

because then it would be just like an IPOD!!!

I have had the phone now so far for about 4 days. I think its great so far and I have owned A LOT of PHONES in the past. Overall the phone has many more options and features than the other VZW phones offer. Plus... some high points are its perks: speaker phone is great very clear, camera--ahhh (if you wanna take great photos buy a camera), whatever, whatever whatever...you've heard it already. Anyway the real point to this thread was that for the 4 days Ive owned it, I have been going crazy looking for a leathercase. A holster isnt good enough for me b/c I would break it at work and I need a case, so I figured I'd share my info.
Verizon is out which Im sure is obvious to everyone by now, but I did find out from (1) store located in quee...

can you load pic and video you take on the V710 load them to the TF card then upload them to your computer and vice versa....Were can I find info on the features that verizon has disabled (according to this site) I am trying to get as much info on what this phone does because I am interested in getting it. the two features that interest me in this phone and not the vx7000 are the speaker-phone the bluetooth and the TF card.ok that three but hey...so any positive or even negative info on these features would be great....the rest of the stuff Ive read about this phone pos and neg I think I can deal with...I have a T720 and it has to be better then that..... 😉

...and still keep my ringer set to "Loud"?

The low battery signal is so loud that I wouldn't want it to go off when the phone is near my ear.

Will it sound through the HS820 when I'm using it?

but i forgot how to make mp3 into ringtones using itunes. i forget how to change the bitrate, i remember thier use to be a really good ling for this. if anyone has the link or can help me at all please do.

I bought my phone and would really like to SYNC it with my OUTLOOK. I bought the 'Future Dial' Sync Cable and Software from RadioShack only to find out the cable is not for my model - they don't have one for this model yet.
Does anyone know where I can get one? Preferably a store as opposed to online.

Does adding the mem card increase the length of video? I have asked this before but no one with a card answered. I saw a rumor it will allow you to shoot up to 3 min video on a 128m card. Fact or fiction?

I posted at 7:30 and I am surprised there has only been 4 posts since.

I don't know how or why but when i played back the videos on my phone i heard the sound on my hs810 headset! Can any one explain this? when i turned off my headset it stopped working.then later today i wore my headset on my ear then after an hour it did it again.some times it works but i don't know how.has this happened to any one else?

It used to work fine but im wondering if Verizon finally caught on and disabled the connection.

in 1 of my mp3 topics, it was said that this phone can play 2 hours of straight music and not have the battery life drain 1 bar...

but my full charge only lasts 2 days at the most...is this how yours works also?

i have a feeling that if i played mp3s for 2 hours straight my battery would be drained completely...r there any extended battiers i can buy?

For the second time I am being billed for downloads that I never did. About 2 months ago I was billed $40 for Get It Now downloads. After many frustrating phone calls they credited my account. Now again, I am being billed for downloads that I did not do.

Has this happened to anyone else???

Having confirmed that the V710 is the source of the incompatibility problem with BMW bluetooth, I wrote to Motorola requesting information on when their firmware would be released and whether it would address the problems associated with the V710 interfacing with the BMW bluetooth. Motorola wrote:

I cannot access my TF card at all.
I CAN move pictures to it. When i take photos and save them to the TF card, the percent used increases, implying that the card is recognized and filling up as I use it.

I have formatted it, moved pics to it, used the SD adapter to insert it into my pocketpc, uploaded the pics to my laptop via activesync twice successfully.

Now it is inaccessible from the phone as per above comments, my pocketpc doesn't recognize it and upon activesync my laptop doesn't recognize it.

Lastly, when keying "switch storage device" from the TF card back to "phone" in the pictures menu, I can then no longer access my phone picture gallery unless I reboot the phone.

Any thoughts at all? I fear that re-formatting th...
