LG 6100vs7000vs8000

Which of these phones is better. I'm comparing the LG 6100vs7000vs8000. All the phones have everything I want(the 7000 is missing the speakerphone). I want a phone that has everyhting the LG4600 has plus a speakerphone and camera. I can't see paying $270 for the 8000 but wold but the other two. Which is better the 6100of the 8000?? Can you tell me the difference between a VGA 640X480 camera and the 1.3 megapixel camera and which is better?? The 6100vs7000vs8000 got great rewiews.

Not happy

😡

I just got this phone...so excited all day, get it...love it...get home. IT DROPS A CALL. My 6000 has NEVER dropped a call the hole year and half I have had it. Have this phone one day and first day I have it! Also the signal bars are going up and down on my phone and my 6000 always had full strength everywhere. Has anyone else had anything similar happen? Or could I possibly have gotten the first lemon of the batch?????

When I try to send a .mp3 file that I've converted into a .mid file to my phone via VZWPIX.com my phone recieves the text message and starts to download but then says "Message Not Found on MMSC." What's the deal with this? And does anyone know another way to get mp3's onto the lg8000?

Camera Questions/Problems

I have been messing around with the camera on this phone, and I have been having a problem that I was hoping someone could help me with. When I put it on the 1280x960 resolution, and I take a picture, it doesn't give me the option to save. It is as if it doesn't even recognize that it took a picture. However, when I take a picture on lower resolutions, it shows me the picture, and lets me choose whether I want to save it or erase it. Is there another setting I have to change or is there just something wrong with the camera?

Also, everyone keeps saying how good the flash is, and I am not experiencing this. The flash does not seem to help my pictures at all. What am I doing wrong? I know I have to be doing something wrong, because LG...

Please explain the outside camera lens adjustments

The outside lens settings are not explained in the manual. The top shows a flower which would indicate a close up and the bottom indicated a person which would also indicate a close shot. So where is the distance infinity shot. Can someone explain this. Also the lens adjustment seems kind of flimsy.

Camera settings

I understand the 7000 camera can be set in a quite or no sound mode. Is this true with the 8000 also. Additionally is the rotating lens on the 7000 more user friendly than the stationary lens on the 8000. I realize the quality is much better on the 8000.

Volume on receiving phone is low

I bought my VX8000 today and overall, I am very happy with it. I do have one issue. It was necessary for me to speak louder than normal when having conversations. It seems that the volume on the receiving phone is not very loud. Has anyone one else noticed this? Thanks.

My VX8000 Experience 2/1

I was going to exchange a 6100 for a 8000 this morning. Had an 8000 reserved and waiting for me when I got there (corp store). We went through the exchange and credit card transactions for the 6100 and the Essential Kit I'd previously purchased.

When he went to activate the 8000 though he was unsucessful. Tried for over a half hour. Called and spoke to VZW tech support, etc. No luck. The store rep was very knowledgeable (he was there untill midnight last night setting up the Vcast stuff, new phones, displays, etc).

I went to look at the 8000 during this time and saw that the RF on that was no better in the store as was my 6100
Plus the phone IS big

After 45 minutes of no joy I decided to pull the plug and keep the 6100. Better RF...
