Does this phone have a built-in MP3 player..like the CDM 8940?

i know you can put a pic as the front LCD wallpaper..but can you see it?..bc the clock on the 7000 is big and blocks most of the picture..can u remove the clock?..thanks

The holster was $15 extra and it does not charge in a charging stand. No contact points on the back of the battery. I think I like it? I also liked the audiovox but I went with the LG as I have had all lg phones and I have been happy with all of them.

So I finally learn how to record conversations and just about anything else, but how do you erase the darn things once you made them. 😡

I'm a current owner of the VOX 8940. I am annoyed because the photo ID only displays on the inside LCD, not the outer screen. Does the 8000 have photo ID, and does it display on the outer screen when that person calls you?
Also, any other features that are quirky or anybody doesn't like about the 8000?

I came across this site while looking for a data cable for the 8000. And so I hear, the 7000's work. If you surf around the site you'll notice a download page with a download that looks like software for mp3s, contacts, videos and pics. I haven't tried it yet cuz I don't have the cable, but I thought I'd share the info! 🙂

I used to use Soda Pop mail to retreive my e-mail. It seems that the e-mail function on VZW Today under V-Cast, is not for that, and cannot be setup for 3rd party e-mail. If I have to still use get it now and download soda pop, I will, but it certainly seems ridiculous since the phone is so sophisticated. I also do not seem to see the old shopping cart for get it now to even see soda pop? Any answers will be greatly appreciated. LG and Verizon could not seem to help me.

How do i put mp3s on my phone off my computer

How about the 8100? When is that coming out? It looks like it will be more of a normal size, more like the 6000 size with the 8000 features and bluetooth.

Ok this phone looks really cool, it does not look big to me at all, but anyways, i understand that i can purchase a cord for the phone and somehow transfer mp3. on to the phone. then i read that if i do that, i still cant set those mp3. as ringtons unless i transfer those mp3. into midi fils? what in the world is that? can some one please kind of explain this whole process to me, because im extreamly confused

Can someone confirm the memory ecause what's displayed in Get it Now, I don't believe, is the total memory for the phone but just what can be utilized by get it now. I could be wrong. Isn't there a test code you can type in? I forget what it is but someone here should know. From the test menu I think you can delve deeper into the phones core to reveal what's really there regardless if we can utilize it currently.

I went to the verizon store and purchased the mobile office kit for the lg6100 and 7000. Loaded up bitpim attached my phone and I was able to save my pictures off my phone. This is great. I landed up paying $40 for the office kit, but it was worth it. Macs are great, I didn't need any drivers, all I used was the usb cord out of the package.

I will now try to use the phone as a modem. As soon as I plugged in the phone, my mac said it recognizes the lg phone modem. Thats a good start. More later

This is my first time posting. I've been on this site for quite a while, prob. since last June. The phone I have now is the v710 and this is the place where I learned about it.

Well let me cut to the chase here, I hate my v710, so I'm thinking of buying either the 8000 or the 8940. I was leaning towards the 8940 only because of the miniSD so I can put my own ringers on it instead of getting raped by vzw's getitnow. But now it turns out that vzw crippled the miniSD on the Aud. So my question is (finally right?) if I purchase the 8000 and a data cable for the 7000 or 6100, can I use it to download ringers onto the 8000?

hi, i havn't purchased my phone yet, what is the thing below the antenna when the phone is closed?? Like right on the front to the right under the antenna..is it a service light or????

Can somebody please tell me how to use the speakerphone while on a call.... definitely can't figure it out
