LG VX-8000

Does the flash LED light up during incoming and outgoing class like the 7000..or just the status light?

I live in Brooklyn, NY and the VCAST isn't that great. The EV sign goes in and out and it is kind of slow, the whole process to view videos, opening up the Get Flix and then the video and then downloading the video, and then while it is playing it sometimes has to stop and rebuffer. How is everyone else finding VCAST? Is it worth the $15/month? I am doing the 2 months free but so far it is definitely not worth it to me unless something changes in the next month.

I played with the phone today at the store in East Windsor, NJ (Mercer Mall), it is not that big at all. I compared it to the 7000 and V-710. The inside screen is beautiful, and the size is not as big as people make it out to be. I can't wait to get this phone.

Does this phone or wil this phone play MP3 like true actual songs so i can use the phone at the gym, i know it was an option with my 710. Any help is much appreciated thanks 🙄

If you record a ringtone, how can you delete it? 😕

Does anyone know how to make the phone vibe and not ring? I'm able to turn all the sounds off but that disables the ring as well.

I recently bought this phone as an upgrade from the motorola T720 and I know with my old phone the only way to get your own ringtones/pics on there was to use GAGIN (get around get it now) Is it pretty straitforward, you just get the cable, plug it in and put ringtones and pics on? or is it more complicated than that?

i just got it today, camera quality is great, i can save pictures in highest resolution, great videos, everything is amazing about the phone!!!...i had the V710 and what an upgrade!!
i put mp3 ringers on and everything...but does anyone know how to put the whole song on!

Okay I've got QSPT to reconize my phone now what extention (ie mid or mp3) and what folder do I put my mp3 into on the QSPT EFS Explorer?

I know that the 8000 has a MP3 player... but is it also capable of playing MP3's as a ringtone? I know that the 7000 can do it, but I want to make sure that the 8000 does too. Also is it a simple matter of sending the MP3 (converted to midi) as an email to your phone?

I am already a Verizon customer and have LG VX6000, however I would like to purchase the LG VX8000. The only thing holding me back is the fact that I am still under a 2 year contract with them. So that would mean I am not eligible for the New Every Two or to get the phone at a cheaper rate than the $389. Any advice to allow me to get this phone cheaper?

Where can you buy the cable for the VX8000 or VX7000? Every store I call doesn't have it.

How do you get the speaker phone to work.
Phone rings...open the phone....now what?

Also does this phone come with a plastic holster that you can buy?

I'm totally clueless of where to look for answers.i'll try here.got my lg vx8000 yesterday. i want to know if and how i can get whole mp3's,w/shrunk down bit rates,that i have saved on my computer saved on my phone. with or is there a data cable that i use?software?where can i get the means to do this?i do know i can download form verizon but im looking to use what i have on my computer.any help would be much appreciated. 😁
