Was trying to figure out what "Remote Screen" means with a picture. Seems like it simply sends the picture to the PC via BT, but after about the 3rd attempt, the phone reboots. Afterwards, it was more sluggish than normal. I did a hard shutdown, let it sit for about 5 minutes, had to reset the timezone, but now it's fine. Just thought you all might be interested, any similar problems?

As a side note, anyone know what "remote screen" means. I think it's for that SE accessory that hooks up to a TV for remote picture viewing, Bluetooth Viewer MMV-100.

correct me if i'm wrong, but to get the best charge you are supposed to wear out the battery completely, recharge it fully, then use it as you normally would?

So for people who have this phone and have used it for a few days, has it lived up to your expectations? Any deal breakers? What is the best /worst aspect of the phone?

hmm i cut down an mp3 to 30 seconds which makes it 4.3 MB . when i put it in the phone saved in the mem stick it says play failed ..it wont let me play am i missing something can anyone help >?? thanks

Where do i go to make a custom theme, the se theme editor, where is it???

I ordered my phone on monday. The last two days it has been saying that it is in progress and when I called in today, they said that my order was never submitted. I guess I have to wait another week or two b/c they are trying to submit it and i havent heard anything back. This sucks.

Recently, I switched from Verizon to Cingular and purchased a SE Z500a (pretty neat phone for the price). I plan to try it out, then maybe trade up and buy a S710a. If so, I'll keep the Z500a as a backup, to use in places where I don't want to take the more valuable S710a. I don't plan to get a second number, just a second phone.

If I want to switch between phones, is it just a matter of removing the SIM card from one phone and placing it in the other phone? Will the SIM card from my Z500a work in another brand of phone, e.g., Nokia?

Also, when I'm looking for another phone like the S710a, I assume that I need to buy one that is unlocked. What does that mean?

ok so ill have this phone by friday. i wanted to know what kind of video files it supports. also, can u transfer the vids to your computer and watch them in like winamp and all that without having to get a codec? also, how much space would like a 20 second video taken with the s710a camera take up on the memory stick duo?

How do you access the memory stick.....through file manager? I don't see the option of accessing the memory stick!

Can we load MP3s onto the phone and use them as ring tones, either from the phone's memory or directly from the Duo?

That would be pretty sweet... I'd have to get some audio manipulation software for my PC so that I could make my own ringtones!

Is any one else having problems with bluetooth like I am? I got it to pair on my Mac laptop (although iSync is really not supposed to support this phone yet) but then at work and my other Mac (all mac all the time) It will not sync- or it can never find the phone or some other lame excuse- even to just access the mamaory card and such

Got it to finally work in the car handsfree (HCB-30)-
but this inconsistent bluetooth is going to make me hate this phone-

good to hear urs was shipped out.. i ordred mine abour 3pm on the 22 and recieved it at 12:25pm.. i was very exited.. its an amazing phone there is so much about it i love.. i do think though the buttons during the day are a pain in the ass to see with that silver metalicy matieral they used to make the buttons with..i also think the phone is a pain in the ass when u text alot.. its esasy to text as a whole but the swivel will soon be a large pain in the ass when ur trying to teext on the go or do 2 thingz at once..i also came across the problem of not being able to use my motorola HS810 bluetooth headset.. ive tried pairing it 100 times and it wont find the headset.. what are u all that have this phone thinking >??

Stupid question but how do you access the memory stick?
