i have what i was waiting for.. on the status part of cingulars site.. like pyros clearly said *back ordered 1* .mine also said the same.. that back ordered im assuming doesnt really mean back ordered in some senses..mine no longer says *back ordered 1* it says 0 and also gives me a fed ex tracking number.. my phone will be in my handz no later then 3 pm tomarrow.. so i would be calling cingular guys.. all of you that have the back ordered status..

anyone know where i can tetris for thsi phone?

First off, Great reception.
Second if your company gets a discount, cingular still gives it.

Third.. Anyone know of a program that will allow me to edit down MP3's so i can just get parts of the song (to save on space) and a way to convert .wav files into MP3 ??

i can't really believe it myself.. i went thru alot of sh!t yesterday and was told i could not get the phone until march 26th which is 21 monthz into my 2 year contract..

well i called up today just to verify the woman new what she was talking about when she said 21 monthz.. about 45 minutes later i paid 310$ for this phone with my 35% discount and ill have it tomarrow.. im still not holding my breath lol ill believe it when i have it.. i made sure they looked and looked and looked to see if they had them in stock and i was told yes sir we sure do .. im like are u posative she is like yes sir we have them in stock lol so ill see tomarrow. ill let u all know..

Longtime reader - firstime poster.

Just wanted to let everybody know that I found the S710a unlocked on ebay. The guy still has 3 available, they are "Buy Now" only - no bidding, for $570. I decided to take a chance (the guy has a pretty good seller rating with no negative feedback for the past 12 months). Plus (and I know I might get a beatdown for this) I'm switching from AT&T Wireless over to T-Mobile (better signal in my area and free calls to a bunch of my friends), but I HAD to have THIS phone.

I just cancled the order i placed on the e-store (Cingukar website) and went to the store at the woodfield mall in schaumburg, Illinois. guess what, they had 7 and now they have only 4. call before u hit there and ask for Shane or John at 847-240-9500 choose the option for sales. the other store that has it is in woodfield mall too and the number for that store is: 847-969-9610. I have mine and its charging... 😉
the best way to find in your area is to find stores by going to the cingular website and enter your zip code,thats what i did and started calling all the stores...good luck to u..

by the way if there are more phones, u need to leave your name so they can hold it for u and u know the rest... 😁

Does anyone have any concrete information as to when these are going to be distributed??

I accessed the website from the phone and it said the service wasnt available for my phone. They are supposedly adding phones to this service. Hopefully they add the s710. Phones currently supported are nokia 6620 moto v180, v220, v400, v600, and v3 phones. I WANT MOBILE TV DAMMIT

My store just called me, my phone is in, hes holding it for me, I just gotta wait till i get off work to go pick it up...Ive got a smile from ear to ear.

The rep I bought it from said "great phone, it's to bad about the weak RF on SE phones"

TWO of the stores I was at this weekend "We dont sell SE phones becouse they get bad reception. Motorolla is much better"

What are the experiences you guys have had with this?

I live in the area code 630 and the only cingular store that recieved this phone was the one in Elmhurst, Illinois. So i went and picked it up but i feel kinda bad cus they only had one so now everyone else who wants one...god knows how long they will have to wait. Well thats my sad story i feeld bad for buying out the cingular store but i dont regret buying it...i had this phone in my hands tonight for at least 3-4 hours its so awesome.

😈 I ordered my phone online on monday 2-21 at 6:00 am Central time. i checkd the order later in the evening, the order status says not shipped and back order!!!! how come!!1 i thought i was one of the first ones to order. i called cingular they said that there were about 300 phones in the stock. i think that i heard they will have about 4500 phones!!! can some1 explain please? 😢

Just got off the phone with a Rep who couldn't find the find and then told me to go online to do it. Told her I could not migrate a family plan online and she was like "Yeah you are right, I guess you'll need to go in a store to do this"
