I've been reading these fourms since late December in anticipation for this phone, but I would like to know how can I be eligible for a discount? This question may have already been asked, but can someone please inform me?

The price of this phone doe's make sense considering all the things it has on it but man carriers need to start making there phones cheaper, when WCDMA comes out there phones are goin to be 500 and over and people in the UNITED STATES aren't going to nesaricly spend that much money on a phone. I know in japan there high tech phones are a lot cheaper then what they sell them for in america so whats goin on, also cingular sells there phones to high, i don't like verizon but there plans and phones are much cheaper then cingulars. O well i'll still get the s710a but its goin to be my main phone for a long time cause this mess is costly lol

Does anybody know of any discounts out there on the s710a?

i call my buisness contact that i have to call to get the phone with my 35% off discount.. after being on hold for an hour they finally tell me that they already sold all of them and there waiting to get a new shipment in.. this was like noon or 1 pm.. these phones are flying off the shelfs.. this blows.but hey i gotta wait till the 26th of next month they tell me but ill be getting the phone for early 3's i guess its worth it * sad face * 😡

i did my order form thursday!! the store over on 82nd street in lubbock texas. said they hav two in stock. but if i want to get my %30 discount i hav to wait for my phone to come in they wont sell me the ones in stock!!!! uless i want to pay full retail. 👿 👿
think about it.the long wait,the time - i did not cave in!!!! and still i am to be tormented!!!!

I'm sooo happy to hear that this phone is finally available in stores... dissapointed though because the local stores around me have not received their shipments yet.

It's not gonna replace an iPod or anything, but you can turn it up nice and loud. Not sure if you can fast-forward, but you can pause. Oops, scratch that. Hold down right or left on the D-pad to FF or RW.

The earbud headphones that the phone comes with are great, and double as handsfree (they have a mic attached).

Too bad they swapped the FM radio for EDGE. An FM tuner would have been cool to have.

I really hope some kind of firmware hack comes out in the future that allows MS Pro Duo cards to be used!

I was at the local Cingular store
in Tallahassee, Florida. Something
was wrong with my Razr mms.
Anyhow, I was asking him about the
S710a and he said "oh yea, I just
got the non working demo version of it."
Well I sat there shaking as he walked out
back to get it. As my hands were slightly shaking
he put it in my hands and I dropped it-j/k. 😉
Very nice and solid swivel and very nice protector for the camera lens. Can't wait
till see the working version-which he said
should be in soon. 😁

😡 Man, did I go through so much trouble in ordering this phone. I went through my business end care unit and they said that I only get 20% off this phone, and I KNEW that this was not correct and then I called a different phone number and they said that I was not eligible to receive the discount and then they transferred me over to telesales and they said that they couldn't apply my discount and that I had to be transferred back to my Business Unit and then finally he was able to find my FAN number and apply the discount for me and so now I was able to order the phone.....man I hope everything goes smoothly from now until I get my phone. 😉 Sorry guys to make you guys read so much blabber, but I'm just excited to even get this phone wi...
