LG V VX-9800

Everytime I use bitpim to add a song to my 9800, my assigned ringtones will move to the next song. I have to go to each name that I have a certain song for and put it back in. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Im using the super convertor instead of ImToo n Its MUCH better, but the video quality is still not crisp, clear and perfect. 😢 Can someone please post the specification(which output container?,which video codec, video scale size, aspect, n so on n so forth...) THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Is anyone having problems with taking pictures in normal lighted areas? they just seem dark even with the flash on..P.S. i think the flash suckss....

im thinking of switching but want to make sure

i want to know if there is a way to have mp3's on your phone or mini sd card and make them your ringtone? i the manual it says that you can't, but I'm not sure if there is a way around that? please let me know any info thanks

The phone pairs no problem; displays all the right information..and works...

But the hangup button on the steering wheel cannot end a call......this problem as been reported on the Samsung a950 also......does anyone have any info on this?

I JUST MOVED HERE TO SAN DIEGO, (IMPERIAL BEACH) AND I DON'T GET GOOD RECEPTION AT ALL. VERIZON SAID I WAS TOO CLOSE TO THE WATER AND I MAY NEED TO GET A DIFFERENT TYPE OF PHONE. I NEED ONE THAT HAS EXCELLENT RECEPTION SINCE MY CONDO IS SOOO NEAR THE BEACH. DOES ANY ONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS???

Hi all, I'm new(so go easy on me). I ordered my vx9800 last night and it's on the way now.

My question is, what connectors(that don't come with the phone) should I look at purchasing if I wish to upload ringtones and other things from my computer to my phone? Thanks in advance

Has anyone actually been able to copy an MP3 file from their PC to a memory card and listen to it via the 9800? Every time I try to copy one, when I insert the card in to my phone and access the menu, the phone reboots. I tried the extension renaming I saw in previous posts but nothing works. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys, im thinking about switching from a Sidekick 2 and would like to know what the differences are in IMing?

Im confused as how they charge you for it, is it all free, is it included in vcast? Is it a text message? Also, can you have multiple IM's open at once?

Are there any other glarring differences in the Sidekick2 and the 9800? Thanks

I have the treo 650 w/ verizon and I'm forced to get a data plan (45 bucks!) because otherwise I would pay up alot since I recieve about 500 txt and pic per month. I was told about this phone and I was interested... can anyone help me make up my mind or what else can I downgrade too? treo is more for Docs, real estate, and business people... I know im not using it to its potential. HELP!!!

I have loaded the SD card into my computer, it is able to format the card but will not accept copying a file to the card. My computer says, "cannot copy the device is not ready." I can transfer files from the phone to the SD card, so I know that the card is working fine. My computer will allow me to add a new folder to the SD card, but not accept copying ANY file to the card. Does anyone know how to resolve this problem?

Does anybody know if there is a setting, crack, or overide so that you can take video for more than 15 seconds at a time? It's pretty frustrating to be limited to that amount!

I just started making ringtones with the new version of BITPIM and i transfered them over to my phone and they worked fine, i made a few more, trasfered them and then when i went to go to ring tones on my phone , my phone **** off! It keeps doing this everytime i go to the ringtone folder, and i ever earased the new ones i made from bitpim and sent file info to phone as replace and it is sill doing it!!!

I am thinking of getting this phone, but I am confused on how exactly the e-mail works. I used to have a blackberry, does the e-mail work similar to that? Does it get 'pushed' into the phone or do I have to go to a website to access it?

Also, I am thinking of getting this phone on Verizon, how should I change my plan to accomadate this phone?

A few more items, if you know:

1. How/What is the business card scanner?
2. What is Email via Wireless Sync and does it work with AOL?
3. How many songs does it hold and is it easy to load songs into?

Fellow VX 9800 Users please help..When i am in no service areas (i.e. as underground on the subway) i get an awful static sound when i try to use my Mp3 player..To mimic this "no-service" scenario please place ur VX9800 in standalone mode --Go to "Settings & Tools" , then "System"(press 5), then "Standalone mode" (1), and click to "On" ...then try to play MP3s and please provide me feedback if you "Do" or "Do not" receive static playback...i know the 8100 had similar issues and the "standalone mode" helped alleviate the static problem, but i still am encountering the static noise even in this mode and ive tried to 4 different vx9800 and two different sd cards. Just try and give me some feedback , Greatly appreciated .thanks
