Hurray!! More new Plans

Just when everyone almost got used to the old ones too. It seems like plans change here every 2 months or less. I hope this round the Text and Vision will be better priced. Insurance already when up $1 this year so that should not happen again.

EV-DO footprint?

So am I right to assume that sprint has completely stopped expansion of the 2.5g network and will now be dedicated to the 3g? Furthermore, does anyone know if sprint plans on completely filling in the current 2.5g network with 3g service? If so how fast will this happen and is there even an ETA on that being completed?

Is Sprint National buying out Ubiquitel?

Our Upgrade Call center is closing down at the end of the month. This seems like a move toward a buy-out.

Sprint service

I am currently a cingular customer considering switching to sprint. My biggest concern is the coverage area. I do a lot of traveling thoughout the US and with cingular I do always hav service, however the service quality is quetionable at best.

I stopped into a sprint store and saw that there is now no roaming on the plans and the coverage area seemed to cover basically the same areas that cingular did, but this is a dramatic change from the past. The salesman said its because sprint was now sharing the Verizon towers. Is this true? If not then how did they expand coverage so dramatically (i.e nextel towers or whatever). How is sprint service once you are not in a major coverage area like NYC or Rochester NY. Do they have good coverage in...

I NEED MORE LINES! HELP!! PLEASE READ!

I've been a sprint customer with one of the highest family rate plans out there. I've been with them for 5 years, I'm out of my contract and need to add a line for my teenage sister (I'm undecisive between sprint and cricket) I have plenty of minutes to spare.

Well long story short I am on the $200 spending limit, been on that limit for 2 years, is there any way to pressure sprint or a trick to get them to raise my credit limit and be able to get a third line to share minutes?

Can someone out there help me at all! 🙂 Will talking to a "supervisor" or "threatening to cancel" do the trick?

The easiest thing for me to do would be to say "screw it" and go somewhere else such as verizon, but I love sprint, they've been great to me ...

DoD iDEN

The United States of America has come to a fundamental conclusion about its national communications infrastructure post-9/11 in regards to homeland security; it's broken. The Department of Defense, working with the FCC, DHS, the President, and Congress has brokered a framework agreement to purchase Sprint Nextel's iDEN network as the first phase of a national overhaul of its security framework in regards to communication.

The plan is simple; everyone involved in securing this nation will be on the same network. This network will be using an encrypted iDEN sequence, ensuring that all soldiers, first responders, and chain of command will be able to contact ...

Anyone know why...

Sprint discontinued the Audiovox/Toshiba VM4050 phone? Was it just because of age or was the thing a pile?

Great Earnings Report for Sprint!!!!

http://www2.sprint.com/mr/news_dtl.do?id=8820 »

Sprint adds 1.3 million pro forma subscribers for the 3rd quarter.

Total subscribers now 45.6 million.

Data grow 62% from 1 year ago.

Overall seems to be a great quarter. Sprint should be very happy about this. They will be over 50 million before we know it.

And I posted it before Nextel18. 🤣 🤣 🤣

Very pleased with Sprint!!

Let me just first off say not only did I have T-Mobile service for 2 years, I worked for them too. I am no longer with the company, and have since switched my service to sprint.

The phone works in my house (where T-Mobile didn't), coverage overall is 10x better, my sanyo phone rocks, my nights start at 6, I could go on and on....

I've talked to customer care a few times, and I was a bit skeptical at first from all the horror stories I've heard about Sprint's customer care, but I've so far found that to be hogwash. The reps who helped me were the nicest, most polite reps who knew the answers right away.

Thanks for doing a great job-you have one (though still pretty new) satisfied customer here 🙂
