i think

that the reason sprint is losing so many customers are due to the way thing are being ran now and how they used to be ran in the past now if you want to cancel because you got a 75.00 data charge fine go ahead you mean your going to pay upto 200.00 to cancel over 75.00 wow be smart ppl use your head which one would you pay 200.00 or 75.00 in the past if you wanted to cancel you would get the problem fixed plus get stuff that had nothing to do with your problem you wanna cancel cuz u want free text ok here's the text and while your on the line with me how would a new bb sound thats crap and always has been if you wanna cancel cya go to a different company thats going to wave you out the door when you start crying over problems on your bill th...

Palm Centro

I noticed the Centro comes in Olive Green and Pink Rose. Now is that all Palm did was change the color or has there been an improvement in the Palm OS software? Did they add new applications? I really want to switch soon. Helio is doing whatever they can to keep me. My charger broke and I have to put tape around my phone to hold the charger in place. 🤣 I called customer service and they told me that I actually had to purchase another charger. I don't think so. The call was escalated. Sprint Falls!!!!?

Its Really ridiculous when people say there is a way to opt out of sprint with out getting an ETF. what most dont know is that every company has and increases an administrative fee. (they just dont tell u) the other major carriers increase billing like there was no tommorrow. people dont do enough research to figure it out. Sprint on the other hand notifies you what they are doing. thats y we get trolls informing us how to get out of our contracts. funnny thing is that the verizons, at&t big boys do that all the time and people eat it up. they swear with all that they have that their company is superior. hahahaha. every company beats you in the head with taxes but the "lowest drop calls" and "can you hear me now" networks beat you more with ...

Blackberry Curve

I remember i think on a site where Rim was introducing new software for call log more in depth I believe on it's blackberry as well as a few other things.

Does anyone know if this has come out yet?

also is it available on a sprint curve?

and if so, where to d/l it, i have looked on rim.com couldn't find anything..

Venting... and a couple questions

First of all, thank you for allowing me to vent my frustrations with changes to my account yesterday. I was the one who received pricing that was in error, twice. But business is business, stuff happens and it is time to move on.


My Questions are....

I have an old F&C plan that has some line discounts on 3 lines. If I update to a new Family Message Share Plan will the line discounts go away or stay?


I know some of you work for Sprint, can you tell me or convince me why staying at Sprint is a wise decision.

So does the Talk/Message family plan really include KB in the Pictures?

So does it really have them for free? I keep seeing peoples different responses at work that theyre getting charged the KB on the new plans. So on the new Talk/Message plans, if you send a Pic/Vid will it charge you?

Sprint is a better deal for smartphones

For example, let's have the phone be a BB Curve, and the rate plan be 450 minutes with unlimited text, unlimited data, and navigation.

Sprint everything 450 = 69.99 per month
450 minutes = included
unlimited text = included
unlimited data = included
navigation = included

Verizon
450 minutes = 39.99
5000 texts (no unlimited) = 20.00
BB personal data = 29.99
VZ Navigator = 9.99

Total for Verizon = 99.97 (+29.98 from Sprint)

AT&T
450 minutes w/ rollover = 39.99
unlimited text = 20.00
BB personal data = 30.00
AT&T Navigator = 9.99

Total for AT&T = 99.98 (+29.99 from Sprint)

Why would anybody choose to pay almost 30.00 more per month???

BlackBerry browser update?

Does anyone know how to download the new operating system onto Sprints Curve? It seems like it wont allow me to do it? Its out on BlackBerry.com but not on Sprint/downloads. Tech said its not available for sprint customers yet even though its released. Thanks.

Activations reps

So here’s my conundrum, I’ve been with Sprint off and on several times. Each time I close/cancel my account (in good standing).
Although after the first time it’s been a complete hassle to start a new account. Not only for me but for the store rep who’s on the phone with the activations rep who gets exasperated as well.
I’m not kidding it takes over an HOUR to start a new account, each and every time like clockwork.
From what I can tell the problem is because once I’ve closed an account the information stays in the system. I come along; I’d like to start service again. Can’t do it your account says closed in our system, reactivate it. The ‘system’ won’t let the reps do it. Start a ne...

Computer won't recognize blackberry 8330

Hi, i have the 8330 for sprint and I am having trouble getting the computer to detect the curve. I am running windows vista 64 bit on my computer and everytime i connect the phone via USB the charging icon on the phone shows up for a few seconds and disapears. Blackberry desktop manager isn't recognizing any device when connected to the computer via USB.

I tried calling sprint tech support but she said it isn't compatible with 64 bit computers. I have a feeling she didnt know what she was talking about because it DID sync before on the same computer. That's how I got all my contacts, calendar events, tasks and notes in my phone.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

700p or LG Lotus

i've had a 700p for a long time. i would like to go to a flip phone and also something a little smaller. Lotus is not a smartphone but i don't know what i am losing. I'm not sure i am using the smartphone capabilities. what do ya think, lotus or stay with the treo?

Sprint Sucks

Yep! Just wanted to share with everyone here my own personal experience so that no one else makes the same mistake I did in going with Sprint.

Well, I went into a corporate store, and demanded they give my a free Instinct, and nobody took me seriously, so I asked to speak to the manager. After 2 hours of yelling at those morons who worked there, I finally got one and was on my way.

Well, I dropped my Instinct in the bathtub and discovered it would no longer work. I promptly called customer service to see about getting another one. I had to speak to at least five different people before I finally got someone to agree with me that I deserved to have my Instinct replaced for free. Those other fools kept trying to sell me insurance or some...

Samsung Rant owners

Played around with the Rant yesterday and I couldn't find any setting for repeating reminders/alerts/notifications for missed messages, calls, VM, whatever. ☹️ Like the LG Rumor has.
I played around with it for a few minutes and couldn't find anything.
Does the Samsung Rant have any kind of repeating reminders?

And if anyone who currently owns the Rant who used to own the Rumor let me know your opinion.
